Review The Green Man Norwich Family Diner - Rackheath

Thought I would try the Green Man in Rackheath, I wasn't disappointed. Once we had been seated was explained about the specials and if we ordered our meals online could save money in doing so. Drinks were brought to our table very promptly, asked if we had any problems ordering online, which was lovely. Starters came out within 10mins, was not disappointed, most enjoyable. Staff lovely asking if we needed anything, more drinks etc. Same with the mains, very well presented, full of favour. Followed with liquor coffee. Lovely evening, great food, lovely helpful staff. Highly recommend Green man, you will not be disappointed, will definitely be returning 😁

Lovely decor, really well done out inside this place. The food was fantastic, we had a Groupon voucher for a 3 course meal and a drink for two that cost under £30. I had the skate and my partner had the lamb shank for our mains and couldn't fault it, really good value, way too much food for us and ended up taking desert home in a takeaway tub! The staff were friendly and helpful overall I would definitely recommend going here and will come back again soon.

Reasonably priced food, good range from carvery to pizza hot dogs and burgers to fish. A 10oz steak for just over £14 can't be bad. A family style restaurant and bar with a woodland theme. Service was ok while we were there but we came in about 6pm. Open 11am until 11pm.

It gets very busy from early on. The carvery seems especially popular. My bar snack was fine and served quickly. A bit chilly if you sit near the entrance as inner door was kept open. Some refurbishment still underway.

Big portions, fresh tasty food and in a nice laid back atmosphere. Should be busier than it was tbh

Large food portions, friendly service, and a very unique place to eat.

Really nice, had driven past a lot, didn't think it looked like much but finally went in and glad we did. It's bigger than it looks inside and out and the garden is enclosed and has a great play area with loads to keep kids busy. We sat at a booth inside and had great service. Good menu too and the food we ordered was with us reasonably quickly, well priced and delicious. Will be going back. 😊
