The Broadwick Radlett

Have walked past this restaurant on several occasions. This time I gave it a go and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very good and the service to match. Looking forward to going back. BTW staff followed Covid guidelines; Track and Trace (NHS), hand sanitiser on entry and all staff were wearing masks.

The food was nice; I highly recommend the mushroom fajitas, the teriyaki salmon and halloumi fries, but the cod goujons were a bit greasy. The service was quick, though, at least when we went shortly after restaurants reopened, there were no masks or gloves and we did feel that the waiter got unnecessarily close to us to give us cutlery for our mains. The price is also reasonable.

It’s been open a while, so we were assuming they’ve sorted out the gremlins. Walked in and the restaurant bar looks very cosy, great decor furniture and colour scheme. Managed to get a table with the big sofas at the back of the restaurant, bright and comfortable. We opted for the lunchtime special menu, £10 includes a main meal and soft drink. Reasonable selection for both veggies and carnivores. Staff friendly and attentive, food arrived on time we were there at 1pm. Keen to revisit and see what is it’s like with the family at dinner time. Solid start can only get better with no gremlins!!! :)

I wasn't sure what to expect as I did not like the restaurant that was there before however I am over the moon I visited. Firstly, there is air-conditioning, something the last owner's lacked, and before we even ordered they bought over a jug of water which was perfect as it was a particularly hot day. The food was delicious and I am looking forward to my next visit!

First impressions of the restaurent is very warm and welcoming. Staff was extremly helpfull and friendly. The timing between taking the orders to serving drinks then starters then the main course was spot onn. 5 stars for food presentation. Extremly tasty, fresh, home cooked taste. Kalamari just cooked to perfection, soft yet crispy beautiful burst of amazing flavours. Rissoto was gently melting away in the mouth leaving amazing hint of mushroom behind. Schinezel (breaded chicken) was very tender yet crispy on the out side, just as it should be. Over all a great place to eat, marvellous experience. Compliments to the chef Bartek. Will come back soon, "hungry for more".

Nice interior with relaxed dining. Good and attentive waiting staff. Good and varied food offer (not too pricey), excellent vegan/ veggie menu. Half price cocktails on Monday altho check your bill as we'd been charged full whack before we asked them to take it off! Would definitely go again. Nice place.
