Brilliant pub and well run. Serves wonderful food and for real ale fans, well kept kegs and clean pipes. For the kids, there is also a play ground and for the parents a lovely patio to keep an eye of them. Inside, old and historic. All in all, guaranteed to offer a good experience.

Little hidden gem of a pub on the outskirts of Radlett with a surprisingly rustic / old fashioned feel to the interior considering it being in London's commuter belt. Lots of high backed settles, some with unusual carving, and lots of little nooks and booths to sit in. Another surprise is the beer - two of my favourites from the West Country (Butcombe and Otter) adding to the feel of being transported to somewhere a very long way from London. Nice welcome from the owners.

People are friendly food took a while to come but was very worth the wait. Great selection of drinks available. Great parking options. Great big kids area with grass and climbing frame with swings. Seating in shade or sun.... I wouldn't say it's officially classed as wealchair friendly but not being in one I honistly can't judge that properly but from my recall there were two large steps to go inside. Ummm there seemed to be vegatible stuff on the menu so vegetarians could find options.

What a lovely pub! Popped in here on a sunny afternoon. The place is ye olde and has so many quirky features. The barman was a chatty friendly bloke and it would seem really enjoyed his job - which makes a difference. There is a good selection of drinks on sale here and they are happy to mix it up a bit if you ask for something "off-piste". It is very well looked after and everything is clean and tidy. You can hire this place out for occasions and the staff will work with you on what exactly you want. There is a patio area to the rear, which is lovely and quiet and you forget that you are near a main road. Good prices, fantastic service, I am definitely going to be making this one of my preferred local pubs to go to. If reviews did emojis, I'd probably insert a heart blowing kiss one here.

Very nice old pub, I attended a family celebration, the food was good, the garden ideal for small children but the outside picnic benches were old & rickerty not suitable for older people or anyone with a disability . Having said that it's in a lovely setting and suitable for any family occasion 😊

Terrfic Open Mic night on Wednesday evenings. Amazing performance quality and it's free!. There's food until 9.00pm when the music starts to really get going and a headliner act closes the evening at about 10.45 through till 11.30 or so. Mainly guitar/vocalists but piano and other instruments also feature. Quality of the acts is exceptional, not a duffer amongst them. Come down and listen - or play...? All are welcome, floorspots are free and you're guaranteed a minimum of 2 songs. You don't need a PA, it's all provided. Just bring your voice/instrument and join in.
