Very nice restaurant in a lovely location.
There was a good selection of dishes on offer.
I had the ribeye steak, which was OK, but not as good as I had hoped.
One of our group had the pork belly and apart from the crackling, he said it was not to his liking.
The deserts were really nice though,

Been going here for many years and the food is always excellent. Good quality and generous portions. The service has gone down hill though, lengthy wait to order food and servers not very friendly. Shame because it lets the place down and hasn't always been like it.

Went here for supper after completing a birthday gliding experience. A team of young staff greeting / serving who were a credit to the restaurant / family as they were all very pleasant & helpful. The pub is atmospheric & in a lovely location. The food - awesome - good size portion and everything was piping hot- utterly delicious. They have an extensive menu so we will definitely be back despite the 45 minute drive. Thank you.

I recently visited the pub restaurant and had a wonderful experience despite the initial wait due to the busy bank holiday crowd. Once I placed my order, the food arrived in about half an hour. I opted for the belly of pork and it was cooked to perfection. The dish came accompanied by a variety of vegetables, creamy potato mash, and an absolutely incredible sauce that enhanced the flavors. I was truly impressed by the high quality and amazing taste of the food, not to mention the generous portion size. The prices were quite reasonable for the excellent dining experience I had. Overall, it was a delightful visit and I would highly recommend trying out their offerings.

The menu created a problem as there were too many lovely dishes there to choose from. However, having chosen, the food was excellent. The staff were amazing, especially the young lady learning the ropes on her fourth shift. She did very well for a new member of staff.
If we are in the area again (we live 72 miles away) we will certainly check that the menu is up to scratch!

We had booked a table and we have been here several times. We had a dog with us so we had to sit outside in a covered area, the service and food were very good but the outside area was a bit dated and the tables needed cleaning. Which was quickly sorted by the staff. Good range of menu choices, something for everyone.

The most amazing Sunday roast, they fit us in last minute and my goodness are we glad we chose this place. First time here and will definitely be returning! 10/10 service and food.
