Had takeaways- Gurnard, beer battered & kumera chips & pineapple fritters. Very yummy,! Fast efficient & polite service. Highly recommend- the best in Raglan currently

I had lunch here back in March and it was really good. The fish was very fresh and perfectly battered and cooked, and the chips were likewise excellent. I was very hungry so ordered 2 fish expecting to get 2 pieces, but I got 4 good pieces (two SERVES I guess) and had trouble finishing it all. All ready in 15 minutes as promised.
There is public seating including a table on the footpath right outside if you don't want to walk to the beach.
I'm very surprised by the negative reviews here - not my experience at all.

We recently visitied this place. We have not tried this local fish n chips shop before, so thought we give it a go.
Food quality was excellent! Fish was tasty and fresh, chips were crispy and plentiful. Conveniently located in town. Comfortably our new favorite takeaway shop in Raglan. Highly recommend this store, we will be back!

It's worth and quality food for the price we paid. Will be back again. Kids loved the food. Little long waiting time...but we can understand how busy thier kitchen is and orders were keep coming. Overall it's a good little takeaway shop.

Visited here over Easted Weekend. The chips were fabulous. This fish was okay, I personally expected better when paying $7 for a but of fish. The size was on the smaller side and was largely batter. However, the taste was pretty good. Overall, I would visit again for those tasty chips.

Nice food, good service, its in Raglan. Always look for where the locals shop, been told the wharf is good but when you have to que for 15mins just to get in then you know they have to be good, and gave us extra fish, will definitely be back

Small Fish and chip shop. The fish was fresh and tasted so good, The crab sticks, spring rolls, were very good too but personally I wasnt too keen on the chips as they seemed like they were from stale potatoes.
Very good value for money though and I will definitely visit there again next time I'm in Raglan
