Best fish & chip shop going, never understand why it isn't top of the awards lists each year.
We decided to go for a random drive for some tea tonight, so we checked out reviews of chippies in Ramsbottom and set this one on the satnav. 45 miles later we arrived and were not disappointed! Freshly battered cod and lovely chips that were fresh and not greasy. And the gravy over the battered sausage was so rich like the meaty gravy you get in a steak pie. Absolutely lovely and so well priced too. So recommend this place, well worth the 90 mile round trip!

The homemade pies are outstanding and whopping portions too. Several choices of curry. Great fish chips. Fast and friendly service. What more do you need in a chippy.
After 14 months out of the country we decided on Fish and Chips for our first takeaway treat. I can honestly say these are the best fish and chips we have had in years. They were very reasonably priced and served by nice, friendly, polite staff. Give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Tried this place for the first time last week and loved it. Fresh fish cooked to order and perfectly cooked chips. Also wasn't too greasy like a lot of other places. Decent portion size too and at a good price. Reasonably priced and a good selection of items on the menu. Staff were friendly and it's great that it's open on a Sunday. Worth the drive from central Bury. Will definetly be eating from here again!

I was amazed to find this place , being coeliac it's not often I find a chippy offering a gluten free menu, pea fritters and scallops are amazing! They also have gluten free curry , just wish they would offer gluten free gravy too.
Quick service - nicely cooked food, great choice. Never seen Fish Cakes made into small footballs, they look amazing ! Definitely trying them at my next visit.
Wonderful fish & chips here. The homemade pies are also great. Always have scallops on the menu too which is a bonus. We travel 15 mins from home & pass numerous other chip shops on the way to this one but they are the best around!
Catered for 60+ people for our wedding, and it was AMAZING, the pies where huge, gravy pies and curry Sause was gorgeous and it come on time all hot... organised well and the staff are FAB!
