Had a great meal here.It was a Sunday and along with the traditional roasts they do an alternative menu of steaks,burgers,salads act.The 3 roasts and Korean fried chicken(my choice) was spot on,as were the starters and puddings.My granddaughter was kept occupied by the free crayons and colouring pap
We visited The White Horse for my mums special birthday with all the family on 21/10/23. The staff were so friendly, so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We regularly visit this pub for the nice atmosphere, outside space for the children and the friendliness of the staff aswell as the amazing
It was better when it was your local pub with trampolines for the kids and family play area setting.
Since their revamp, I feel it's gone for the more up market look and it's lost it's cosy feel.
The food is ok, not my first choice for a family meal out though.
Very smart looking gastro-type pub out in Essex. Sat outside in the large garden area with the dogs for a drink, so didn't eat at the pub, but the menu looked great. Nice atmosphere and very family- friendly.
Lovely big garden with a nice playground for kids. There was live saxophone music and the food was delicious. They also have an indoor restaurant area that's quieter. A hidden gem and must visit for families.
We went for lunch this afternoon and it was so lovely! The food was delicious and the staff were so nice. Everything was clean and tidy, even the kids play area. I will definitely be coming back soon!
They did an amazing celebration for us after my mums funeral. The buffet was spot on along with service and help from all the staff. Thank you
South American menu, great to have something different. The food was fantastic as was the service. Dog friendly in the bar aea, water bowl and treats brought immediately.
Had a late breakfast/lunch. Got there as it opened and was only people in there. Clean place. Food good quality. A bit expensive but might go again.
Based on going here several times ...changed a lot...gone Urban style...we liked the bit of up market style...Roast was amazing though as was the starters...lots on the menu was Not available..condiments inside was brought out in paper pots...and Dessert menu on a plastic see through stand up menu s
We walked through the pub to get to urban fresh beautiful pub and restaurant urban fresh had a new menu and it was amazing the decor is fantastic and staff were so lovely
This is a really nice, clean and well decorated pub. The food is lovely and the service is excellent. We will be back for the Posh Fish finger Sandwich, it was delicious.
There was only one vegan main and one starter and I consider offering sorbet as the vegan option pudding a token jesture. The ordering options were strange as you had to either order two or three courses and the two course option had to be a main and pudding so discriminatory for diabetes sufferers.
