The World Upside Down - Raunds - Photo album

Had a meet-up with an old friend on Sunday, first time in the pub. Was made to feel welcome by the barmaid and the atmosphere was good. Food smelt good as well.
Unfortunately very quiet in there staff were chatty and cleaning the bar during the quiet moment!!
A true gem! I found this place by chance and my god am I glad I did. First time in it looked quiet so I asked if they were serving food, they were so I ordered a pizza, hands down one of the best pizza's I've had and at a price that is beyond reasonable. Took some friends 2 nights later and all 3 of
Great atmosphere, Landlord and bar staff are very friendly. Plus, they have a pool table, what more would you be looking for? Get down there, you won't be disappointed.
Recently renovated. Modern and tidy inside. Large range of larger and ale. Were not yet serving food when I visited, menu available again early Oct I was told. Accessibility remains an issue, being fair this is an issue in much of Raunds town centre due to buildings being set back from the road on s
Great place! Friendly staff and nice food.
Excellent beer always served with a warm welcome and a smile. John
December 8th was our first visit to this venue and we were not disappointed. We had 2 courses from the Xmas menu priced at £15pp. Plate came piled high with turkey and all the trimmings followed by a delicious sweet. Great staff 10/10 for the chef defo back to give the normal menu a go. Thank you.
We visited for Sunday lunch and were very impressed. Bear in mind we were 4 adults 4 children 3+ and one baby yet we were still accommodated comfortably. On a Sunday the menu is limited but, if anything this is a great thing. 2 beef 1 pork and 1 veggie option later plus various weird and wonderfu
Great value for money. Simple no nonsense food. I am tempted to try their steak night but it has to be booked in advance.
Lovely pub good atmosphere very clean toilets good, nice interior good food and drink, a lovely fire it was nice and cosy, all in all a lovely pub.
Great pub, very friendly. It is a bit awkward though how the pub quiz master is my school teacher and it does make me uncomfortable when he speaks to my mother about me. The quizzes are also really hard and we lose most of the time, we would have come second yesterday if my mum had actually listened
Arrived at about 3pm as this was the only pub in Raunds to show the six nations on Sunday. Got there too late for food as they sell out and are very busy. Booking is recommended if your after a Sunday lunch! Nicley renovated inside and friendly landlord. After sitting down to watch the match with ou
Staff great, seating and overall area brilliant, meals ok just need a little tweeking but I am sure they will get there. Would recommend for people to go well done guys
Best Sunday lunch we have had in Raunds. Good choice of beer. Lovely house red wine. Loads of veg - loved the cauliflower cheese. Great local pub.
Popped with a couple of mates for a quick beer and watch the football! Pub was good and service friendly
