Called in for a bacon sandwich, unfortunately due to allergies I couldn't have the bread, as we were traveling in a camper I had bread with me so supplied my own, the bacon was lovely but I feel tomato and brown sauce should be a better quality and not cheap catering stuff which was like jelly. Coff
Lovely meal today at the Stoneygate, the lamb was so tender and tasted amazing. We also went into the shop, where the lady was really friendly and helpful, we came away with plenty of lovely things to cook at home. Well worth a trip here
Called in for coffee and cake . The cafe is clean and pleasant. Not too much choice of cake but it is only a small cafe so not too surprised. I'd rather have less choice than left over, dry cake! What a gem of a place. We stopped in opportunistically for a Sunday roast and it was right up there with the best I’ve had. The meat was delicious and the chef made a special effort to cater for my partner who is gluten intolerant. Afterwards we decided to get some meat and cheese from the farm shop
Went for breakfast today 5/08 and what a great experience. Had the butcher's breakfast, it was excellent. Quality meat cooked right, my mate, who doesn't normally eat black pudding, ate all of his, as it was so nice.
If I was to nitpick is say that I'd like thicker bacon, but it was delicious.

The salmon cut of beef was so tender and moist. I always buy meat from Stoneygate, it’s not the cheapest but it is the best and the animal welfare issue which is very important to me is very good. Great breakfast in the small cafe and superb fresh meat in the butchers shop next door. Bought a piece of hoggart, cooked my slow cooker and it was delicious 😋, best lamb I've eaten in years.
Nice place, outdoor seating on the back was large stone chippings, so no good for Mum's rollator and we had to sit inside.
