We couldn’t thank our server Sam enough. He was friendly & very helpful. We walked in and he could tell we had our hands full with two boys under 3. He was very quick at getting our drinks offering to get the first refill for us (saved us getting up) My youngest had a melt down when our food arrived.Sam offered to put my husband’s food under the hot plate which was very thoughtful never been offered this treatment in any other restaurant. Then once I finished my dinner & took the baby, Sam promptly brung over my husband’s dinner which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Sam thanks for making what could of been a stressful experience a very enjoyable family meal.
I have been to many harvesters up and down the country but the harvester at Rayleigh Weir is the best that i have eaten at .
It was our 1st time eating at this harvester and WOW it's the best I've ever had. The food was superb, salad bar lovely and fresh the rolls were nice and warm. The service was fantastic, we only went as we were taking the boys to base jump, well worth driving from Romford to Rayleigh just to eat here, we couldn't recommended it more, just lovely �
Staff were fantastic. Helpful, polite and welcoming. Good Cod & Chips and free unlimited self-serve salad.
Was served by Meg behind the bar really friendly member of staff despite our very confusing drinks order . Was very helpful and served us with a smile on her face 😊 Steph our waitress was very polite and helpful. our daughter had a lot of allergies and she made sure this was communicated to the kitchen. Thank you!!! Lara also was a 10/10 waitress
We came here for breakfas after we left the harvester in Basildon due to them being rude, best decision staff was extremely welcoming, took our order straight away, arrived on time and best harvest breakfast we have had anywhere. Will be back again :)
We had such an amazing experience here tonight when we visited with our two boys who both have severe allergies, Alex; the shift supervisor, really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was 5*
Nothing was too much trouble and he really was so helpful and caring, ensuring everything we ate ( even down to condiments) was completely safe.

My time at the harvester was an amazing evening. The service was very quick and delivered very well from our lovely funny waitress Lara. My son is annoyingly very picky with his steak so requested to have it cooked more, another friendly kind waitress Steph kindly took the steak back and reassured us not to worry and that it was not an issue as we didn’t want to be them complaining customers!
Overall a great meal, really recommend going for a date night or family meal!

The staff here are so friendly. Arrived at a busy time but not an unreasonable wait for food which was top notch. Amazed at how the staff coped without stressing and gave t star service throughout THANK YOU
Returned to Harvester yesterday after a great meal a few weeks ago. I don't have a bad word to say, the food was delicious, server was really friendly, and its great value for money, we actually asked their names as we felt we wanted to give recognition where deserved. Compliments to Chef Tom and thank you Jess for great service.
We were served by Meg on the bar who was great, very friendly and upbeat. Our steak was cooked to perfection by the chef Ben. Will definitely be back again.

My son and I visited in the off chance while we had an hour free. We were able to get a seat quickly. Our waitress Steph was really friendly, happy, polite and professional. Food was lovely and cooked quickly. Only down side was it was a little cold with the air con on constant even though it wasn’t very hot outside. However I didn’t ask to be moved and I’m sure they would have accommodated my request if I had asked.

We had a great business meeting here this morning. There were 7 of us and the service and food really was great. A particularly mention goes to Milly. She was very attentive and was absolutely brilliant at her job. It was one of the highest standards of service I've received and will definitely be going back.
And a quick additional note - this was in the top ten service experiences ever, anywhere.
Overall happy but I waited for some time s before someone came to me. When I wanted food I had to wait a few minutes to get their attention. Overall was good
