Definitely a hidden eatery treasure tucked away in one lower corner of Caversham providing good service, great ambience, quality delicious Nepalese cuisine and an excellent value for money. The menu offers a vast choice and there’s no so called service charge as is now a norm for almost anywhere you
Since moving from London to Berks, almost every Indian/Asian restaurant has been disappointing. We randomly thought to give this a try since Nepalese cuisines has many similarities and it turned out to be a real gem! All our dishes were excellent and we're definitely going back for seconds.
For those looking to explore Nepalese food, this is a great restaurant to start. For me personally, the restaurant being Non-Halal was brilliant as it is hard to find such restaurants in Reading. Fantastic food, enticing aromas fill the restaurant. So much so, I forgot to take pictures and dove str
Can’t believe it’s taking me this long to visit. Lovely little restaurant with wonderful hosts. The starters were fantastic (try the momos!) calamari was surprisingly fresh. Sherpa chicken for mains was our best choice, chilli chicken wasn’t that hot. Would visit again!
A place I'd love to visit again someday! I've been here twice, while staying at a friend's place in Caversham. Everything was great, the food was carefully cooked and very flavourful, and the owner is very friendly and always up for suggestions and recommendations. It was the first time I ever tried
Really friendly welcome- always a great start. Decor is fresh and crisp with a lovely ambience and tasteful background music. Service is outstanding. Hot plates and food is fresh and spiced to perfection. Good value for money as well. Plenty of car parking.
Having read positive reviews about the place, we decided to walk from the Reading City Center to the Momo house. It’s about a 50 minute walk and at various points of time, makes you wonder if you have got the directions wrong since the restaurant is in the middle of a purely residential area. It is

Great little local restaurant in Farnham Drive serving the Caversham Park Village community. Fantastic authentic Nepali and Indian food - the lamb or pork momos are the best! The mixed BBQ platter is also fantastic, as are their special fried rice and garlic naan. They have a Monday-Wednesday deal w
Lovely place with parking. Great deal for Monday to Wednesday. Wide range of dishes. Delicious and filling, great value for money. Very friendly staff.
a gem best curry in a long time - we shared eight dishes tonight, every single one was delicious, and Momo's been consistently excellent for the past couple of years that I know
Well you just have to try this gem of a restaurant, absolutely first class. I had the Biryani and it was amazing. So different to how you normally get this was other places, tasted beautiful along with everything else. The service was great and the owner came and chatted with us as with everyone el
The staff are so so friendly and the service is excellent (as well as the food)! Would definitely recommend :)
A regular customer, the food is always wonderful and so full of flavour. One of my favourite places for take away in Reading. Great vegetarian options.
I went here for dinner with my son and daughter-in-law on 1st November, during a brief stay with them. I'd never had Nepalese food before but couldn't fault Momo House in any way ... fab food (a cross between Indian and Chinese, as might be expected), friendly (but not intrusive) service and brillia
