The most welcoming and friendly pub I have ever been too, and I've been to a few! Great banter from the locals, superb landlord, lovely rural setting, nice outside garden, excellent pub food ( big portions) at such a great price, what u waiting for? Highly recommend
Good walking route stop and also good cycling stop if doing route 4. Have to wait for food as it's done fresh .Inches cider highly recommended! Garden good for holding bikes while you rest!
What a delightful stop for a quick dinner. Lush food lovely chilled cider and pleasant surroundings with courteous barman... all 5 star
Great beer selection, reasonably priced with friendly bar staff. Classic English pub food menu! Cricket is regularly played on the tv, so if your looking for a spot to watch the cricket, this place is a safe bet. Great experience all round.
The folks who run the pub and the patrons were such nice people. The beer was good as was the food. Massive portions, great value for money. The pub shows live sports. Most of the people at the pub seemed to be regulars, and understandably so. Did meet Teddy, the publican' s dog!
One of the last true pubs surviving, great beer good food and friendly locals. Also one of the best views about in the garden. Hidden gem of a pub
Pleasant. We were only here to drink on way to football. We got a warm welcome. A very lovely pub.very clean and tidy. Dogs welcome.
Booked for Sunday lunch. Excellent value and food good. Had roast lamb and there was plenty of meat and gravy. Traditional old English pub with garden and paddock area so dogs would love it here. It’s a treehouse too and staff very friendly.
Wandered in for a drink to find a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We didn't try the food but it had a good menu with some old favourites like Liver & Bacon on there. We went on a Monday evening and it was quiet apart from some friendly regulars. It was great to be able to go to a pub and fall into inte
