Toby Carvery - Reading - Photo album

The only way to beat a Toby's Carvery, is to visit your mum. We went for the carvery specifically as we have never had a bad one. Meat was hot, juicy, and tender. Vegetables were fresh and tasty (especially the cabbage and the onions). Portion size was great, and they do crackling. And the roast pot
A standard Toby Carvery next to the associated Premier Inn. Parking can be a bit cozy as the car park is small for two popular places. The Carvery restaurant is smooth, efficient & very popular. Booking is certainly advised for Sunday lunch. What I do like about the place is that the tables are suff
Excellent and kind service - we were really impressed. The food was good quality and very fairly priced. Everything was very clean. We went on a Sunday so it was quite busy as we expected, but the wait wasn’t terribly long. I would highly recommend this location!
Brought the aged Mother in Law and she wolfed the lot down! That included dessert! Nice calm atmosphere and they took account of our request for a quiet seat. Very nice food and good choices. Only fly? The lime flavour I tried in my cola tasted like bog biscuits!
The food is as expected, true British roast. Service was wonderful, waiter Peter was friendly and did everything he could to help us. We had a beautiful pudding of honeycomb sundae. So big! Would so tell people to come here!!
Came in a couple of weeks ago. We was greeted with a smile from the young lady that seated us. Good service great food. We witnessed staff / managers being badly spoken to when they are doing nothing wrong. Just because the customer seems to want a free meal. There’s no need for rudeness, they are j
The eatery is much improved now in ambience, comfortable seating and helpful and efficient staffs. The food and drinks are of great quality except that they’ll never master the art of cooking roast potatoes! They’re tough and undercooked and not done properly. However, overall a great place. 👍
Lovely meal tonight with a good friend. Always a relaxed atmosphere here that you can laugh with people and just catch up. Huge portions so we ate too much. Served by the lovely friendly Meghan who was just so nice about us having a good long catch-up. Thanks Toby Carvery!
It is typical of us to complain about the weather, so here we are, it was too hot in the pub restaurant to fully enjoy the experience. Toby’s fault? Maybe… do you have air conditioning? Perhaps you should Anyway the Carvery was excellent as usual. We were discussing going up a second time… one more
Ordered online collection for 530pm, arrived at 528pm very busy as was a Sunday also queue of delivery riders who seen to be getting there orders before mine possibly due to business I didn't mind waiting 5 or 10mins as long as the food was fresh and hot I had a hot bag ready. 5 deliveroo riders hav
Look. This is a carvery. £12 a plate or something. You know what you're getting. Fine dining? No. Will you feel full after? Yes. Let's go!
Emily did an amazing job serving us on the bar making the drinks efficiently with a smile. Tasty food and friendly carvers!!! Great experience and highly recommend.
