This cafe is run by the friendliest staff, most hospitable host and will provide the greatest oat lattes in Reading. Quick and great food, indoor and outdoor seating available, affordable. If there was a sixth star it would be given. This place has and always will have my heart.
Parking nearby is monitored - max 2 hrs. Order at till. Food is excellent apart from cheap sausages. For full English you can choose 5 items from a wider list. Service is excellent. Nice atmosphere, clean tables. Taxi and chauffeur drivers frequent here. But CASH only.
My favourite place so far, to have breakfast with my family on the weekends .

Nice English breakfast with coffee
One of the best cooked breakfasts I've had (see photo) for £5.50 including a big mug of decent coffee. Particularly enjoyed the bacon, grilled to perfection. Service was polite and efficient, and it was a nice location to sit outside and watch the world go by.
First and foremost, this cafe has such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere that is created by the staff. Their english breakfast is what puts this cafe on the map! Yet, all their other food are equally delicious. I will definitely be returning again.

For what it is, excellent. Friendly, unpretentious, clean, good food. You can tell the owners care. I recommend set breakfast 1 with coffee
I later had a takeaway coffee. I was served quickly and the drink really hit the spot. Made with one of those proper espresso machines with the steam milk frot
Excellent value...Perfectly cooked British breakfast for £7 with a choice of up to 5 items so could be tailored to my preferences, included coffee was a little weak for my taste, but I wouldn't complain at this price.
