True locals pub created from an old shop premises on the Oxford Road. Limited seating but attractive pricing with frequent specials and attentive staff. Can get high energy in the evenings (for good and for bad) but it's a well run pub that's worth dropping by, where locals are happy to chat. Likeable place that I pop in when I'm nearby.

Great Pub. Reasonable price. Excellent selection of beers. You can really feel the native atmosphere during match of England. I strongly recommend this place to all the football fans. This place is just fantastic and should receive an award.
Nice typical English Bar. Great fun to be had here. Good selection of Beers. No Food Menu. Nice place to watch Sport on TV and have a nice Pint in good company. Under new Management. On the Oxford Road in the West Reading area Bus stop for 17 Bus to Town and on up to Tilehurst outside. Great for groups or alone.

Great laugh in the wishing well last night, I must say fair play to Jess she really has turned this pub around for the better, staff so friendly and didn't have to wait long too be served, definitely will make this pub our local, well done Jess and her staff xxxx
