The Last Crumb in Reading is truly a hidden gem for burger enthusiasts like myself. This pub has quickly become my go-to spot for indulging in mouthwatering burgers and enjoying a fantastic selection of beers.
The Last Crumb takes burger craftsmanship to a whole new level. The juicy pink patty cooked to perfection, oozing with flavor, was an absolute delight. The quality of the ingredients and attention to detail truly shines through in every bite. Whether you prefer classic cheeseburgers or adventurous creations with unique toppings, The Last Crumb offers a variety of options that cater to all taste buds.
As a beer lover, I was thrilled by the impressive selection of brews available at The Last Crumb. They have curated a thoughtful and diverse collection, ranging from local craft beers to international favorites.
One of the highlights of The Last Crumb is their garden seating area. The ambiance is simply delightful, and a relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy your meal, especially during those warm summer evenings. To top it off, the pub plays great music that creates a lively and enjoyable backdrop.
In conclusion, The Last Crumb is a true gem among Reading's pubs and burger places. With its unbeatable burgers boasting juicy pink patties, an extensive selection of beers, charming garden seating, and vibrant music, it ticks all the boxes for an exceptional pub experience.
Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
Visited here as a family with our 3yo son, it was such a lovely place! Great music and service. The food was incredible, some lovey concoctions that I have never seen on a menu before but were delicious! I mean honey on a pizza?! It was so tasty! Good pints as well. Highly recommend and worth a try
Amazing food! Their pizza is one of the best I had. A large selection of craft beers, ales, ciders. Good atmosphere with lovely staff.

A great selection of local beers on tap in a trendy industrial Dodo pub setting. There’s a large roof garden upstairs with pub benches & heated open containers, plus a new large gazebo outside. The handy hatch in the wall is great for all-outdoor contact free ordering. Attracts a busy young/student crowd at times but good, quality beer for all ages. Burgers & pizzas are yummy too. A great sense of community events, like outdoor cinema screening in the summer. Worth a jaunt up the hill to the top end of Prospect Street for a pint.
We love coming to this pub as they are always friendly and accommodating to us. The selection of alcohol is good, and the food is decent. We always like to sit out back where there are heat lamps and a table football.
We have shared many great memories here and will continue to come back again and again as it is a great meet-up point. It also has a free car park round the back if u can get a space. My only criticism would be that sometimes the pizzas and burgers are a bit greasy for my liking, but other than that, everything else here is great.
Great place with a huge beer garden! Large selection of crafted tasty beers! Amazing kitchen!
Decent £5 Thursday/Friday lunchtime pizza (the simply red is vegan and tasty with some chilli oil, some burnt bits but you could call it rustic(!) plus white rabbit bases £2 extra for gluten intolerant) and craft beer (local Siren brewery was available, quite pricey at £5.70 otherwise the excellent Loddon or the Arkel’s standard fare more like £4). Good music, friendly staff, loads of outdoor seating and plugs/functional seating for working.
The new pub has now opened. The renovations are done with a good taste and imagination. The bar location has been changed and the new decor looks very attractive with rusty look that is very inviting.
The food and drinks were of the good quality pub food with excellent service by Betty who was pleasant and knowledgeable.
The male toilets were clean with neutral smell but water taps in the hand basin were not of the well thought of design. The hot water was extremely hot and no mixer tap facility that would’ve been safer and better option. So was the position of liquid soap dispenser - it was fitted ridiculously high above the hand basin and the soap shoots directly either on your clothes or on the ground.
Most of the chairs and tables it seems were acquired from a charity shop like Sue Ryder. A couple of chairs were broken and should’ve been replaced!

The last crumb in Caversham is arguably one of the best pubs in Reading. They have a lovely beer garden which is perfect for the summer. And they serve amazing food, especially burgers. Their Dirty Bird Burger is UNREAL. It comes with buttermilk fried chicken, dill pickles, tomato, lettuce and chipotle mayo 🍔 And their parmesan truffle fries are just to die for too. Definitely a place to visit for great burgers and beer.
I love love my new local! Food is great, atmosphere what you want, and the garden is huge.

This pub is always expanding and is great for groups, families or just a intimate drink. Staff are friendly and patient with a great attitude towards how a great pub should feel like
Really lovely. They've got a great selection of drinks, some of my favourite beers and great strong ciders for my girlfriend, the drinks are well priced... For Reading. The food was perfect, with a good choice (within the limits of mostly pizza or burgers). Although semi expensive it was worth it and came out speedy. WiFi is easy to get on and works all the way to the (amazing) garden.
Really great pub! Food was epic, drinks were epic and service was great.
Love how it's all kinda home made goods. Highly recommended
They have a great selection of craft beers and delicious pizza. The food is always quick. Perfect beer garden for a pint after work when it’s sunny.
Nice pub! Relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of drinks. We didn’t eat there but I’ve heard the food is good
Absolutely my favourite pub in the summer sunshine (5 star). Mainly a selection of Dodo Beer, but some guests, and the usual spirits etc. Menu is quite simple, but the food is generally excellent. Best burger in Reading, can be served pink, being a testament to the quality of meat. Also, fabulous pizza. Food service is normally excellent. The bar area can get busy, with people generally forming an orderly queue. Popular with dog owners. Nice outdoor/semi outdoor areas (roofing could do with attention). They open at 12pm Thur-Sun, otherwise 5pm. Be warned, the kitchen closes at 3pm and re-opens at 5pm.
For me, different story outside summer (3 star). They close the outside areas too early in the year. I don't like being inside because of the acoustics/too hard to have a conversation. Have been let down collecting food too many times and don't bother anymore.
What a great pub. Booked a table for two, they even remembered where we were from and our names and seated us to our table generously. The food was nothing far from perfect. Prices were too cheap for the food and the quality. Will be returning and would suggest anyone wanting good food, a great pub with an atmosphere to come here. If I could give 6 stars I would.
