Wonderful staff, great vibes and I really appreciated the light and colour schemes on display. Goes without saying but the food was really nice. Had a great time and will definitely be back again. ✌🏾

Today we ordered one egg fried rice , nepali style chowmin and butter chicken . All are quite good and tasty. Portion is drastically reduced compare to last time and pappad was missing too.. but as an asian we love and recommend aila restaurants. Evantually i have seen many brits visit here around reading area

Amazing Food and amazing people
Try the Nepali dishes if you have not yet till now. Awesome taste. Almost all the items in the menu is very good or excellent. People running the restaurant are very welcoming and polite. Highly recommend whether you are vegetarian or non vegetarian

I hosted a small party here and everyone simply loved the food. Infact a lot of our friends immediately returned to the restaurant to try more dishes on the menu in the same week.
Aswin and Yogi were really helpful and so accomodative of our requests during the party. Staff was very friendly.

Where The Aila is located has been multiple restaurants/pubs in the 7 years I've lived here so I had quite a low expectation when we first ordered a couple of months ago. However, we were blown away by the quality, flavour and portion size from the Aila. So much so that we've ordered every week since!
We are vegetarian and they have an excellent selection of veg options. Tbh, there is nothing I would change about anything we've ordered from there and I think we have quite high expectations!

It was my first visit and was very much impressed with this restaurant. Food taste was excellent and service was too fast. I would say it's a must visit place in Reading for Nepalese/Indian food lovers. Certainly on my list to visit again. Glad that I could make it before Tier 4 restrictions!!
