Haven't been in here for years but went last week for a meal with family and it was very, very good. I had the chicken vindaloo and it was hot enough that you knew you were eating a curry but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the flavour! Decent serve with rice and chips and not expensive. If you haven't been since it re-opened, it is definitely worth a visit. James (restaurant manger I think) will look after you well too.
Just back from a family party at The Tavern.... Excellent venue. The function room is lovely, and well set out. The food was very good and plenty of it, and the staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again for a party... Thank you for having us.
