The little chip in Redcar what can I say.. to us is faultless, the portion sizes are value for money, but if you’re only paying for a mini cod and chips what do you expect something that’s a size of a whale?
Moreover mum and I go ever Friday and we think it’s worth every penny, the staff couldn’t be
Friendly and helpful service even though it was busy when we visited. Managed to get seated and ordered food at the counter. Reasonably priced food. Chips looked pale but tasted great and the batter on the fish was lovely, light and crispy. Tasty meal as always, worth a visit when in Redcar
It was alright nothing flash about this place the chips could have been a little bit better too many scrappy chips think we got the bottom of the pile but otherwise the fish was well cooked and tasted good.
I love this fish and chips I have give it a 4 star because the price has gone up so quickly I only eat once a month there now can't afford these prices but nevertheless still really nice fish and chips probably the best in redcar
Gorgeous chip butty lovely to sit in a nice quiet little fish shop with my dog. nice place to watch the world go by in peace ladies were lovely and friendly aswell thanks for a lovely relaxing 20 minutes
Very, very nice cod and chips.
Portion size is just right to fill you up, and the cod and chips cooked just right.
Very friendly staff, all in all a great little place.
You can either sit in or take away, just watch out for the seagulls if you take away.
The only chippy in Redcar that was open on a Monday night, AND sold mince pies. Result.
SOS little chip the confusing menu and cramming in all those tables n chairs all for an extra buck emphasises yor title 'little'. Next doora better especially 4 portions
Age old this place, and it was as expected . How I remembered it growing up nothing has changed, and the reason I gave a satisfactory 3 stars nice chippy !!
Update: I was passing and decided to give them another go, portion sizes were gone this time and the food was great, review updated to reflect 👍

Very tasty fish at a reasonable price. It's great that they use cardboard trays instead of plastic ones.
Lovely fish and chips and staff were friendly.The only negative is it would be better if the food was already cooked instead of waiting around like many others were. Most other fish and chip shops have food in the hot counter ready to be served straight away.
