What an excellent country pub this is! My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a few visits to this excellent establishment, dining there twice and drinking several top-quality Real Ales. The meals we had were very nice, generous portions and staff always friendly. We will be back during our next
We came for dinner here a couple of times on our holiday. Food was very tasty - the fish and chips were some of the best I've had. Very chill atmosphere as well, whether you want to come for food or just for a drink - the best pint I've had so far in the Dales as well, can't go wrong. Will definitel
Very nice and well run pub this. The standard of accommodation is high, the food good with generous portions. Wonderful unspoilt village location with footpath leading down to the River Swale. I would definitely stay here again.
Dropped in for a meal at lunchtime midweek. Very pleasant inn, friendly staff, roaring open fire. Fantastic views across the valley. Good walking base. Plenty of parking, but it was late Feb. VERY busy most of the main holiday season. Reasonably priced varied pub menu with specials.Highly recommende
Great pub in one of our favourite parts of the Dales. Great selection of drinks & food. Staff lovely and knowledgeable.
A great place to sit by the fire, have a drink/ food/crisps and play card games with the family!
Great welcoming pub, lovely food, all the classics on the pub menu. Welcomed our 2 dogs and plenty of room for them to relax, dog towels provided at the door. Just a nice relaxed, warm pub.
We stayed at The Buck for 3 nights. Bed was very comfortable ,rooms very clean . They have renovated all the rooms and our room had a very large walking shower, The meals were large, not some piggly little bits on large plates. The breakfast was delicious with local sourced products. The staff went

First time enquiry about access for disabled. Very helpful staff to set us at ease. Hopefully going back for Sunday dinner.
Uncomplicated pub, with warm welcome. Very dog friendly, too. Nice selection of beer, including Black Sheep, Theakstons, and Tetleys, when we were in. Food portions were very generous and the meal itself was lovely. I had chicken, leek, and bacon pie with chips, veg and gravy. Partner had gammon, ch

My husband and I stayed at the Buck a few weeks ago with 2 dogs. Our room was amazing, it was huge, very clean and comfortable with an equally amazing bathroom. Great location for exploring the area
We stayed in Reeth and came here twice for an evening meal, both times staff were very friendly, food was good. They serve classic pub meals and lighter bites for smaller appetites, which suited our teens. Large pub garden and small, cute frontage with picnic benches for a quick pint in the afternoo
Had a meal here and a few beers traditional pub with good atmosphere

I went here for a cheeky pint before my hike. Ellen was amazingly friendly and helpful. The ale was fab.. I asked about local hikes.. she recommended a beautiful route which i really enjoyed. Ellen went above and beyond. Thanks so much!
A lovey welcoming pub with rooms. Stunning views from clean, spacious and quiet room.
Popped in for a quick lunch and drink.
Lovely place set in the heart of the Dales.
I am slightly biased as my parents used to live in the village. All 3 pubs there are good to be honest.
