Drove past this place while on holiday. Booked a table online within an hour of visiting, even got their early and got seated with a warm welcome. The service was great and the value was really good spend around £30 for two adult meals, two kids meals and four drinks which I though was really good. Food was cooked nice and everyone enjoyed it. We had dessert after as you can see from the pictures looked great as was wel enjoyed. I was stuffed!
Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.
One staff member (Rachel) who was not on shift just visiting, chose to cut her evening short to help out as the staff were rushed off their feet, they all still managed to give excellent customer service.
food is really good bit takes forever to come out of the kitchen. The staff are running around trying their best, but it just gets too busy for the amount of staff working!! Mistakes were made because of the rushing around and I felt very sorry for the poor waitress running around trying to help everyone.
The food was great and the staff courteous, polite and friendly. Was told waiting time for food would be approximately 40 minutes but it arrived at our table within 25 minutes.
The only negative ( and perhaps safety issue ) was small children running around restaurant area & between tables. Maybe a polite word from staff to people with children to keep them under supervision or signage that children should be supervised might help.

Lovely pub and nice pub food. We have come as a family today and I had the chicken sizzler which was very tasty 😋. Husband had mixed grill and kids had burger. We were all extremely satisfied 😊!! Even better you can even use your blue light discount too 🙌
The only bit, which I did tell the manager was the chef came out of the kitchen in chef's whites that looked like he had been gardening, numerous times. They were not white and needed a good wash and a clean pair. Not very good advertisement for a kitchen. Manager says would have a word but they were waiting for new whites, still no excuse. I don't know if he did speak to the chef as he didn't come over to say he had resolved but the chef constantly came out in the same whites. Environmental health have been informed.
Food, service was great, chef let you down.
Very good value, the new surf n turf was excellent. 8oz juicy sirloin oozing with garlic prawns, delicious.
40th Wedding Anniversary Celebration, they were very accommodating and the staff were both friendly and quick to help. Food was piping hot and plentiful.
We could order at the bar or via their online ordering service which was nice as I've got enough apps on my phone already.
All in all a Brilliant day was had by everyone.

Great value for money.
We ate mid afternoon so was relatively quiet. The food was very good as was the service. Some of the items were missing off my pud, hubby sort of complained and they said they would do a new one but he said just bring the missing bits which they brought in a dish and they were very apologetic. It hasn't put us off, we will definitely be going again
This place is normally pretty good. Tonight was a totally different experience, absolutely dreadful. It wasn't just the service we received, the whole restaurant had the same bad service. Will I be back, I doubt it.
So I came here for a quiet meal with my grandma and I'd been recommended this place by a few friends but I was met with the worst customer service I'd ever seen there was a tall black haired guy at the bar had low enthusiasm and was quite rude to his co workers and also very rude to me the only reason I give this place 5 stars is because of the amazing young girl that brought my food out she catered to our every need... Won't be returning it's a shame that one member of the staff spoils it for the rest when the food was actually quite good, hopefully anyone else that goes will have a better experience!
