Excellent customer service! I'd been travelling all day and they managed to squeeze me in for dinner despite being fully booked. It was the only vegan meal in town, so I was very grateful. The meal itself - vegan shepherd's pie - was fantastic. I popped in again briefly for a quick drink before my bus out of the area and everyone was lovely once again.

Must say what an amazing stay and value! Can’t fault the room for the price. Others may say not perfect but for £32 for an evening I was very impressed!!!

We went for a meal, table of 4. Our greeting was warm and friendly where we were shown to our table in a timely fashion.
Our waitress for the evening delivered menus and took our drinks order.
When taking our food order she shared a laugh and a joke as I am always a little indecisive when deciding what to have.
To say we were impressed by our starters would be an understatement. Our plates were swiftly removed and shortly after our mains were delivered. Again, to our delight the quality was superb as was the size of our meals.
I would highly recommend The Crown as somewhere to go to eat.

Manager and staff were lovely. When we walked in we were told they weren’t taking food orders at the time as the kitchen was full. We greatly appreciated how upfront the staff were about this. The bar had an issue with a head on the cider but rectified this and bought the pint out to our table. Brilliant welcoming staff who dealt with any issues professionally. The staff went out of their way to inform us when the kitchen was taking food orders so we could order our lunch. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Wide range of ciders on tap and amazing gluten free options. The inside was beautifully decorated with a lovely vibe. Will be eating here again

I shayed in The Crown for 1 night when I was in the area with work. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bar area has a really nice homely feel to it. The food is of very good quality and the pints were great.
For my overnight bedroom, it did have lovely plastered stone walls. Just that the bathroom and mattress could be improved; but for the price very good value for money. I would recommend this place.

As soon as we entered we were made to feel welcome. We were sat by the window and the staff were very attentive. The food was fantastic and even when I asked to have my burger a little more well done, my preference, this wasn’t an issue and they came back with a new one, which was done to perfection.

Considering we couldnt get in initially then booked online we was very well accommodated at short notice during a busy friday night during our trip. Felt it was good value too 😊

We came here as part of a group for lunch and a Rotary club quiz. We were impressed by the amount of food offered, in the form of a sandwich buffet, for £8. There were chips, sausage rolls, samosas and a large amount of brown and white bread sandwiches. There were less than 30 of us but the sandwiches would have fed 40. We were also impressed with the service and ease of communication with the staff prior to the event. This venue is to be recommended for a group.

Management was excellent, very professionally run. Bedroom was small basic in need of a make over, but clean and comfortable.

Arrived very tired after a 200 mile ride that started in Liverpool. Warm comfortable room waiting, fabulous food and one of the best pints I've ever had in Wales. Topped off with a full breakfast to get us on the road again.
Sorry I didn't get the staff member's name so I could thank her publicly, you know who you are. Even got a free Welsh language lesson and learned how to pronounce the town name properly. Will certainly visit again. Diolch yn fawr iawn.
