Nice cafe opposite the sea front offering a range of small hot meals, sandwiches, cakes and ice creams as well as hot and cold drinks. Nice inside, plenty of seats inside and a few outside.

Great old fashioned values & service. I'm not easily impressed, but this place certainly impressed me. The young waiting staff were either supremely good naturally or trained well. I think they were brilliant themselves, to be honest.

We waited a minute for a windowside table which was quickly sorted for us and we enjoyed a lovely coffee and cake with the view. The young lad and lass who served us were great, very polite and helpful. Toilets were clean.

We usually go to Forte's in Rhos-on-Sea for tea and coffee and a cake or snack. It is a light and airy space and immaculately clean. On the latest visit we decided to have an all day breakfast each and we were not disappointed. Great quality products - perfectly cooked - served hot on piping hot plates and nicely presented. It was very busy - however we didn't have to wait long for service. We sat at one of the large picture windows looking out onto the beachfront and the sea. Fantastic view. Staff are always attentive and very friendly. Some would probably say - "Good old fashioned service " Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rhos.

The greatest charm of Fortes is the fact that it's "Timeless" having never really changed for decades. With its prime corner location overlooking the little harbour it never fails to draw the customers who enjoy the view through the windows. We both had a cold & warm drink together with the scampi. Perfectly cooked and piping hot with new potatoes and garden peas .....Mmmmm yummy 😋 The staff are always polite, friendly and impeccably turned out. All-in-all an unchanged recipe for a perfect seaside eatery. Best still are the desserts and ice cream counter from which to finish off your meal. Why change a winning set-up ????

We were taken straight to a table, even though it was a busy lunch period. As one would expect, service was on the slow side, but the waitress did her best to speed up our orders. We were provided with a pot of tea for two immediately. When our food arrived, our meals were fresh and hot. We did get a 'check back' to ensure we were satisfied. We can recommend them, especially on a 'less fraught day'.

2023 Dessert dishes are now very expensive for what they are. Coffee not as good as it used to be . A very clean resturant , with very pleasent staff. 2018 Stunning service and food would go again...we were recommened to go here by a friend and we were happy we went.

Lovely restaurant right on the promenade with outdoor seating for families like us with a dog. Really good friendly service, great coffee and delicious food. The ice cream is particularly tasty. Worth a visit
