The Galleon Fish & Chip Shop

Always amazing fish from here and even if google maps says its closed just check it out to see if its open. I went to Wales on a Sunday and on the way home we was looking for a nice place to eat google maps said it was closed but I still went to see for myself and it was open, I told the staff in the chippy about google saying it was closed. Hopefully they can sort it and not loose any business because of an error.

On holiday for the week and called in for fish and chips. We all commented that it was the best we'd all had and we live near Fleetwood where chip shops are of plenty. Called in a second time but a mistake was made with my order. It was a simple mistake and the shop couldn't do enough to rectify the mistake. Again the food was excellent. Lovely people, lovely food and would always recommend this shop. It's a pleasure to get such a professional service. 5 massive stars from us. Thank you.

On holiday in Wales and visiting Rhyl to see a show. We looked up a fish and chip shop we could sit down to eat in. Settled on the Galleon. When we arrived the cafe section was closed because it had been busy with only one young woman serving the counter. She explained that she'd closed it because she had not had time to clean up. Seeing our dissapoinment she asked us to give her 10 minutes. She cleaned up and got us sat down in between serving the on counter. We were soon tucking in to a lovely plate of haddock and chips! We do a pretty fair job in Yorkshire but these were top notch, helped I'm told by the fryer, who said they're cooked in beef dripping. Delicious 😋 Fab service too. Thank you!
