A lovely traditional pub on the lower end of Richmond Hill. Unburdened by the trappings of many over developed pubs, this is an absolute gem. A comprehensive selection of drinks, happily served by friendly staff give this place a feeling of relaxation. The locals are friendly, I can't fault it. Pro
Tiny old school pub, perfect for a quiet pint. Very friendly staff and cute heated garden area out the back. Nothing fancy but perfect for what it is. Perplexed as to why anyone would give this place a bad review but I guess there's no pleasing some people!
We went to this pub twice during our stay in London and we had a great time. The bartender is the loveliest lady who is a great conversationalist. She comes up with wonderful recommendations as well. Wonderful service from some really friendly people who made the visit so special. Great drinks and a lovely outside area when the weather is great. Definitely give them a visit.
Had a great two nights at the Victoria Inn and what a great Host Emma the land lady is. Thank you for a wonderful time. Didn’t eat there so can’t leave review for food.

Old school. Quaint and friendly place to pop into for a pint.
Pub appears very traditional from the outside facade but this is not reflected by the more modern interior in my opinion. That said, bar staff are extremely friendly and pub offers a decent selection of lager and real ales.

Popped in yesterday purely by chance. What a lovely gem of a find! Absolutely the loveliest, friendliest landlady, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and sorted out some garden seating with heating! Will definitely make it a point to visit whenever I’m in Richmond!
Small but friendly and above all, atmospheric local pub. Take away only, be, tables and chairs have been put outside by the Compass Hill green. It gets busy late afternoons but you can still find a friendly fence to sit on. Great to see they are still trading. Let's support them and enjoy the outdo
Absolutely brilliant local pub, we had our wedding reception here and was perfect in every way. Top staff, amazing food, all of our guests were very happy and well catered to. Couldn't recommend highly enough, we'll be regulars now.
