George And Dragon - Richmond - Photo album

Great Real Ale pub. We cycled 11 miles from a campsite in Leyburn especially to visit this great pub again. 8 cask beers on including several excellent Yorkshire bitters. Lamb pie was very good and the barman very welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly and nice views from the beer garden.
Lovely friendly pub. Amazing beer garden with stunning views. Dog friendly. The food looked and smelt great but only stopped for a drink.
Very nice people, tending to have a good laugh with them, carrying good conversation. Always nice to have a chat with the workers there, makes the place feel welcoming. The food was very good, as myself being a picky eater, it was one of or the best food I’ve ever had when eating out, a fast service
What better way to spend a Saturday lunch time. Pie chips and gravy in the pub garden. Food was hot and cooked to order. Friendly atmosphere and lovely people. Would definitely recommend.
My husband and I along with our 2 sons and their partners have a thoroughly good Sunday lunch roast today. 29 October 23. One of our sons has moved to the area recently. Ee will definitely be back when we next visit from Hertfordshire
We came to this lovely pub as we were staying at a local caravan site. We were made to feel really welcome as were our 2 dogs Geddy and Angus. The staff were really chatty and we had a nice time each time we came in . We had a meal one night and it was lovely couldn't fault it. I've just read that
Excellent pub. Lovely walk from Richmond on a sunny day. Was not expecting a vegan option but they had a great vegan curry on the menu so we stayed for lunch. Staff were very knowledgable and gave recommendations on the beer. Could have sat in the beer garden all day. Cheers.
Glad to see this excellent pub back to its rightful position as the best pub in the area - by far. Went in for Sunday lunch as we knew that Stu was in the kitchen and everything was excellent!
Everything a pub should be and nothing that it shouldn't be. Huge credit to the landlords and community for keeping such a wonderful asset not just going but thriving. Thank you for sharing it (and the proper pie!!!) with us and see you when we are next by this way.
Great old country pub with probably the best beer garden in the world. Great selection of ales etc but the slowest service in the world. If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you but if you want to drink in the view you are in the right place.
