Dropped in today just to grab a coffee and cake. Lovely place, wonderful smells, very good coffee and cakes. The man serving was exceptionally pleasant also!

Best coffee in Richmond by a country mile and if you can leave without buying a scone, sausage roll or some sort of yummy treat, you’re a psycho.

The best place to eat in Richmond. We had the best evening eating at the Wilfred Canteen for a supper club. 5 course meal, every course was delicious.
The deli itself is fantastic, a great selection of sweet and savory treats. A must visit, especially if you're wanting something a little extra special.

I finally made it to breakfast at ‘The Canteen’. The relatively new walk-in cafe down the leafy lane Newbiggin. A gorgeous little light and airy beamed room with views of the gleaming steel kitchen area where the magic happens. I had a piping hot plate of soft, fluffy scrambled eggs with perfect, ultra crispy bacon on a base of tangled greens. Absolutely scrumptious. My favourite coffee was served via an individual stove top espresso maker - very cute and cool. These guys have transformed my Richmond experience with their fabulous deli and now this canteen is the icing on the carrot cake.

On holiday for a few days passed and saw the scones and carrot cake in the window , they tasted as good as they looked!!!

Our favourite deli in Richmond. The welcome is always warm, the sausage rolls are out of this world as is the homemade chilli, carrot cake...everything! A gorgeous little find well worth a visit. And great news that they've now opened 'sit down' along the street, Wilfred Canteen. Love this place!

Some nice stuff, i'd say overpriced however there's not many other higher end delis around so realistically the price reflect the quality available locally.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch. It's lovely place with excellent staff. Nothing too much trouble . Good food, great wines what more could you want. Looking forward to next visit.

Lovely little deli! Got some Montgomery's cheddar, lime and kiwi pickle and toffee vodka here and they were all amazing.
Staff were lovely, friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely visit again.

We were lucky enough to sit next to the deli crowd at the Abba tribute show at Thorpe Perrow last week. They obviously felt sorry for us and passed us their leftovers. The sausage roll and apple pie were to die for. Thanks a lot. We will be visiting you x

Came into the deli yesterday to try something healthier for lunch. Got the roast potatoes and chorizo and the polenta salad. Delicious. Came in again today and got the BLT again was delicious and I thought I'd try the pumpkin and pecan blondie I was a bit skeptical but it's actually gorgeous! Will be coming for my lunch much more!
