The oysters were great, the cocktails were REALLY good, our server tried
the ambiance here is more upscale than expected. it's a white linen, hushed tones kind of place, NOT peanut shells on the floor kind of place.

Outstanding! My mother and I dined here for lunch. Beautiful, jazzy atmosphere! We both had the crab cake sandwich. We are from Baltimore and we are serious about crab cakes. This was far and beyond the BEST ever! Thank you for your vision, Mr. Tlusty. We will be back!

Delicious meal for our family of 3- our 10 year old daughter loved everything she ordered. Excellent service. Crab cake sandwich was so simple and tasty- seriously the best French fries I have ever had- they were so good that my husband ordered some for himself. They were made to order. We will definitely be back!

We just had one of the most delicious meals at this hidden little secret in Willow Lawn. We have driven past here so many times and both my husband and I work in Willow Lawn, but have never stopped to try it out. The food was fresh, delicious, and served promptly. The service was spectacular. We splurged on dessert and couldn’t believe how yummy all of it was. We really hope this restaurant makes a go of it because we will definitely be back for more!

Awesome atmosphere in an unlikely place. Great people, great food.
Oysters masters are knowledgeable and friendly. Bartenders are open for conversation and also know their stuff. Went in for happy hour and had a blast. Will be coming back with friends next time.

Food was excellent. Wife had the steak, it was seasoned perfect and cooked exactly as ordered. The mushrooms and onions were so delicious. We had an order of hush puppies that had an amazing sauce. My daughter had the crab cake sandwich which was so delicious. My mother-in-law had the biggest Po' boy sandwich outside of New Orleans.
The restaurant is very attractive, plenty of cozy seating. You can see them cook the food from where we sat. They also have plenty of outside seating.
The staff, all were friendly and welcoming. The waitresses were on top of everything.
Oh and the desert was superb!

I personally enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food here! It is a great place for couples to come to eat out on their date. In particular, our
waiter Austin, was exceptional providing details for us, to make an informed choice on our food.
She was kind, concerned and considerate of our experience and the quality of our dishes. For the company, she is excellent as she always informs the dining guest of all the options and add-ons that are available. Austin is also familiar with options and is able to offer satisfying suggestions. She deserved every bit of her $20 tip! We look forward to dining here again very soon! Also, the Male waiter who brought us our dish was also very good as well, unfortunately I was not able to acquire his name. Note to the manager, this is the kind of staff that makes a

So in between AAU basketball games, we decided to have brunch at the Saltbox and oh what a treat it was. I ordered the mushroom hash, my husband ordered the seafood quiche. Let me tell you... From the fresh ingredients used to the innovated recipes, this spot is the truth! If you are in the Richmond area, the Saltbox is hosting a mother's day buffet! Do yourself a favor and try it out!

My husband and I had dinner here and had a really nice meal. All of the staff was very courteous and helpful. They accommodated my request for a cocktail as a mocktail at a reduced price, and it was delicious! My husband had normal cocktails and they both were really good - we especially liked tangier handshake. We got roasted oysters and they were great, as was the scallops app. I am gluten free and our server was very knowledgeable about the menus options - I ended up getting the crab cakes which were great! My husband got the shrimp Mac and enjoyed it. The gluten free peanut butter pie was the perfect topper!
We will be back! Please don’t get rid of the happy hour - we are looking forward to coming for it!
