Lee's Donuts

After my appointments at Richmond Kaiser, I enjoy stopping by Lee’s Donuts to check if they have my favorite donuts available (Devil’s Food with Chocolate & Peanuts and French Cruller with Chocolate). For some reason, those types of donuts are hard to find at donut shops. (I don’t know if it’s because they’re popular, or because they’re not popular enough.) For those who have never tried a French Cruller, they are soft and almost custard-like inside, so don’t be surprised if they’re not dry on the inside. They’re meant to be like that. While they are soft inside, they should not be uncooked. I also usually get a Blended Mocha drink, and pick up a Sugar Donut for my mom. They also sell lottery tickets and have a lot of different scratchers to choose from. The staff are friendly. The store requires masks and only 3 customers at a time are allowed inside the store. The staff wear masks and gloves.

This is a all time favorite local hangout! All morning and afternoon, you will find local residents and commuters hanging out and patronizing this donuts shop! The staff is good at crowd control, it's definitely not first class service, but at least they're attentive and get you what you need! I usually stop by here for a ham and cheese croissant. People are usually blowing their money on lottery scratchers tickets here.
