I came here to celebrate my 40th birthday with my friends and partner... from the first phone call to book a table to the end of the evening, the owner and staff were lovely.... great, tasty and freshly cooked food...lovely ambience, cosy, personal....even sang “happy birthday” in Italian ...Thank you Treviso for making my birthday a one to remember...
Will definitely be going back soon.
What a beautiful experience and special place to celebrate my dear friend's birthday!!! Lovely atmosphere; beautiful food and very friendly staff. Will be back. With thanks xxx
Richmond is one of the loveliest places to live in London with its leafy green parks and gardens, the Thames running through it, taking you one way into central London, the other south towards Hampton Court Palace and beyond. It’s easy to find nature and beauty and good places to walk; it’s not quite so easy to find a simple, cosy place to meet up with a friend for a bit of supper and a long chat. Richmond is full of chains: Côte, Carluccio’s, Pizza Express, Byron and even the more upmarket Ivy Cafe; they all have a place in a foodie world but their inevitable sameness, while letting you know exactly what you can expect, can be a little boring. Liz and I often opt for the wonderful independent Indian, Tangawizi, just across Richmond bridge into East Twickenham, but we like Italian too and decided to give Treviso ‘a go’ last night and see what it was like.
Recently it very much feels like I’ve been on a ‘north-south’ tour of Italy (unfortunately without actually having left the UK and racking up any airmiles!). Having been to Taormina in Crawley last month, I found myself mentally trekking 1300km north in the form of another Italian restaurant in the London suburban town of Richmond.
Had a lovely meal and was very impressed with all the flavours used in making their dishes. I wish they had more choice for desserts and options for cocktails would have been lovely. Overall, had a lovely dinner.
Food = stunning ! Absolutely amazing - it was much better than some of the restaurants I’ve been to in Italy this year !
Ambience = fabulous on a Friday evening - busy & bustling but still cosy.
Service = attentive - good service with lovely friendly waiters.
Overall = five stars from us locals who would highly recommend this restaurant! Kudos! Loved it !
We went to Treviso for dinner for our anniversary. The food, wine, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. My family liked Treviso very much. Definitely we will visit again.
Excellent food, really enjoyed it. The wine we chose was spot on too. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Nice cosy atmosphere with amazing food. The staff are attentive and friendly.
Small restaurant with a nice cozy setting.
Good service. Great food.
Very good stake. I went there by myself, but still it was very enjoyable moment.
Great food. Small location with outdoor seating. Servers & owner were very nice. Did I mention they had great food?
My favourite restaurant in London on account of its delightful food. Fresh ingredients and brilliant execution. Went there a couple of weeks ago and had the mouthwatering seafood linguine. Yum yum.
This is not first time we go and definitely won't be the last. Went last night for valentine's day and the atmosphere was amazing, warm and friendly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is very delicious. Definitely will go back soon

One of the best places to eat in Richmond! I went there once with my boyfriend and the experience was very good! It's a romantic place with amazing and super tasty food, lovely drinks and not expensive. If you go please try the pasta with seafood!!! The restaurant is cozy and beautiful both inside and outside, decorated mostly with flowers. Very friendly staff and will do anything to please you. When I went there I didn't have to book in advance, but during peak times you might need to book before you go as the restaurant is small. (But double check with them, not sure about that)
Lovely little outdoor seating area (which is heated) and very friendly staff. We had the ravioli and the carbonara + a side of creamed spinach - sadly all three dishes were very salty, which is the only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5. You could tell the the food was well made and using fresh ingredients though, so it might have just been an overzealous chef. I'd definitely go back again.
