Lovely rustic pizza restaurant just along from Richmond train station. I have visited several times and the food has always been fantastic. The pizzas are some of the best outside of central London, lovely crisp bases and quality ingredients. The pasta, especially the pappardelle con funghi, is also very good. The beer selection is lacking but they serve a great negroni. Highly recommended

Absolutely fabulous food, I was really impressed with how well this was cooked, served and tasted - it was one of the best Italian eateries I have been too. And if I am honest I looked around to see where to eat in Richmond and saw many restaurants but I am glad I chose this as it didn't disappoint. Just be aware that during certain hours (mainly 18:00 - 21:00) they do get very busy and I am not surprised the Staff are super friendly and the service the same. The actual setting is great, 2 floors squeezed into a small but cosy rustic building and I couldn't of been happier. Have a look at their website (and also my pictures) and see for yourself. My advice book a table and go, I am sure you will love it as I (and my Wife) did. We will be back soon.

We had the best experience here today! The food, drinks and customer service were fantastic! The pizzas were great quality, flavoursome and tasty! The customer service was the best we've ever had in a restaurant. Thank you for making our visit so special and making our little girl smile and giggle so much! We can't wait to come back soon and will recommend your restaurant to all our friends & family 😊

Excellent service with a local and family-owned* feel. Rustica offers reasonably priced stone baked pizzas, selection of wines, and antipasti. I didn't try any pasta or rissoto dishes. I visited with a group and we all had different pizzas. Did the food excite me to discover more? Not really however the food is good quality 👌
*not claiming the restaurant is family-owned, this is based on a feeling of the atmosphere and service.

We visited on a Thursday night, after a long walk at Kew Gardens. What a lovely experience we had!
We were promptly accommodated and the place immediately felt homely and cosy! We ordered some mixed aromatic olives for starter, with a perfectly well-balanced Aperol Spritz! We then proceeded with ordering pizzas. I had the Burrata version, which was an absolute dream! The mozzarella on top was so creamy and tasty! The Parma ham made it even more special! Great prices too!
Service was quick and staff friendly & smiling!
Absolutely recommended and I will certainly be back when around the Richmond area!

Great food and nice restaurant. Loads of tables downstairs upstairs and out the back. Staff were very freindly and passionate but maybe not to everyone...

Nice feel to the place and very tasty pizza. Only complaint I have is I had a pizza which was described on the menu as having mozzarella and buffalo separately, I therefore assumed that it would have actual buffalo meat but it did turn out to be buffalo mozzarella which was a bit misleading. But well worth a visit nonetheless.

I was recommended by a friend to come here, so glad I did! Amazing pizza and a variety of other mains/starters. Starter of tomato & pesto garlic bread was the highlight, soo delicious and fresh. The service was brilliant too, attentive but we were allowed to while away a few hours with no trouble. Really can't recommend highly enough. Price wise I think it is probably on par with Richmond, if a tiny bit more your paying for not being a chain restaurant, which for me is easily worth it.
Thanks for a fabulous evening, I will certainly come back!

-Great location.
-Nice looking place.
-Stuff doesn't care about customers, communicate or speak english properly.
-Pizza worth 4-5£ not 12 £ (been to Franco Manca many times and had a lot better pizza for half a price).

Honestly the best pizza I've ever tasted. Tiny narrow restaurant but the food and atmosphere was great!!

Starters were my favourite but all 3 courses were great and 20% discount for showing Richmond Theatre tickets off total bill. Great value.

Lovely food and the staff were not at all bothered that we took our time to order and then sat for about two hours.
Gary Buckley

A great dinner with good friends. The pizza was great the place was very friendly but the service is what you can expect from a british place, not italian by the way.

Disappointing. Whilst service and wine were good there were two disappointing aspects to the meal.
The calzone was very tasteless and the ham inside was unbelievably thin and mostly fat which I had to cut off. The tiramisu didn't appear to have any alcohol in it and was very bland.
We took two friends with us who were visiting the UK and that made the experience even more disappointing. Would not return, although left a small tip as the staff were great.

Best in London?. I don't think so ;/ very poor ingredients... VERY POOR! Definitely you will find something better in London if you can search.

Best in London?. In search of the best pizza in London, Rustica is currently the leader for me. I have eaten here several times, and its all good so far. My current top 4: Rustica (Richmond), Donna Margherita (Battersea/Clapham), Limoncello (Tooting) and Sette bello (Tooting).

Pizzeria Rustica is great for any time of day and any appetite: from pizza, to salads, to lovely pasta dishes and risottos or main meat or fish dishes. It’s one of the few independent Italian restaurants around, just metres from Richmond station, and run by Italians – so you can practise your Italian too!

They have a good selection of pizzas, we got a calabrese and the award winning 2007. Both were decent, crunchy dough, fresh ingredients, rustic presentation, ok flavours, my favourite was the calabrese, the salame with the fresh mozzarella was really nice. Definitely not the best pizza in London but a decent one, good stop if you're hungry and want to avoid the pizza chains.

We have tried many pizzerias in London and I have to say the best pizzas are made at Rustica, followed closely by Franco Manca. That is based on the pizzas only. If I count the surrounding, Rustica wins by a huge margin. The location first: let’s not be c
