I've just been to Cote in Richmond for a late lunch and was mightily impressed. The menu was varied, the food delicious and the service charming. The steak tartare in particular was a stand out. I'll be back!
Now, I normally don't like chain restaurants but I'm happy to make Cote an exception to my rule. It definitely doesn't feel like a chain and I was surprised to find out that they had quite so many restaurants - including one in Cardiff (down the bay innit).
Nice environment, friendly staff, set lunch menu is value for money. Food presentation looks nice and taste good too! A chain restaurant you can find everywhere!
The best Cote branch. It is our place to meet with girls, and to come with family. Always excellent service, friendly, but not overwhelming. Food is lovely and they frequently update the menu. Nice summer cocktails, especially the melon one.
I know it's a chain but it's a great example of how the right management and staff can make a brand stand out. From the welcome at the door through to paying the bill, they actually make you feel like they care. The food was excellent and portions more than adequate. Highly recommended and not expensive.
Brought a friend from Malaysia a couple weeks ago. Food was amazing, I had the Breton Fish Stew that comes with very tasty sauce. My friend had the confit pork belly. We also shared a Charcuterie board, love the meat! The restaurant is children friendly too, made it a lot easier for me.
The food was decent, I really enjoyed the chicken liver parfait with fig compote.
Frankly bowled over with what we had for the price! I had the fish, which was cooked to perfection, came with 3 other veg and a superb sauce, all done beautifully. I had the same meal last week in a more similar other chain, and this from Cote was IN A DIFFERENT LEAUGE! (And was slightly cheaper. Desserts were also to the same standard, prepared on site, not brought in as so many chains do. Both my wife and I were really impressed!! Keep it up people!!
They had a really reasonably priced two course menu option. The food was really good and we had a great time. It was really busy when we went, but our waitress did a good job of balancing multiple tables.
We had an excellent dinner here! Delicious food with a good gluten free menu and gluten free flags on the GF plates so you know they are actually gluten free :) They staff were very friendly and were wearing masks to keep people safe which was very nice to see. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We had such an amazing brunch here - best place around! Staff and food were excellent. In stark contrast to a place down the road that will remain unnamed that would not leave an item off the plate due to 'policy '
All three of the staff who served us were very friendly and attentive throughout the visit. 3 course set menu was great value and delicious food. They asked about food intolerances at the beginning and then brought me a gluten free menu including the set menu GF options which is unusual and very much appreciated 👍. Great meal and happily recommend eating here again.
