My husband and I had a wonderful time here and the best pizza ever!! Even in Italy we didn’t taste such an amazing tomato sauce. Aristotile ( our pizza chef) was very welcoming and friendly. He literally put our puzza and panini together in 2 minutes and baked the pizza in 1 minute! Fastest service we’ve ever experienced. We had to order another pizza to share as we just couldn’t resist.
Discovered this friendly and welcoming Neapolitan pizza joint in downtown Barnes, having just moved there. Great pizzas. Would recommend also their frittatini for starters which is too much for one and ideal to share. Sadly the Tiramisu misses the mark.
I visited there at 7:00pm, not many people. We sat for a while and it was full by 7:30pm. The service was good however it might be too many people for two persons to serve and a lot of foods were made while ordered hence it was a little bit slow. The prawn linguine was very good with sweet tomatoes although the pastas. The margherita pizza was good but not as good as those from Naples - may be I expected too much. However I could finish a whole pizza.
Used to love this pizza place, however how can you justify the low hygiene rating?? it has gone from 5 to 1…do better, also quality has decreased. Is this due to new management?
Edit: thanks for the reply, I’m updating the stars in the hopes there is improvement because I used to love this pizzeria, but also there were some issues with the quality lately (mainly the dough being too soggy, ingredients still good) that I hope you can address soon.
If you want the best Pizza in Putney/Barnes/South west London or London in general - look no further than Arte Chef. I couldn’t decide from the menu so they put 4 pizzas into one. Paired with the house red and on a sunny day I have flashbacks to small Italian sunny villages. Delicious and cooked clearly by Italian staff it’s authentic, Italian and lil bit of the dolce vita = Little Italy in Barnes 😍

The best pizza in SW London! The ambiance is casual and perfectly cosy.
I'm a regular at the restaurant and Deliveroo. This last time I ordered the Parmigiana and garlic bread with cheese. Oh, and a mixed salad for some greens. Not a morsel left. The driver forgot to give me the bread. I called the restaurant and all solved in barely 5 minutes. Great service Arte Chef (and commendable recovery Deliveroo).
They'll see me again very soon.
