Hummingbird bakery is my go to for special birthday cake and cupcakes, they taste divine! The website is so easy to use to order larger cakes in advance and collect on a certain date/time. All their cakes are so light and moist and well worth their price tag. I’m trying a different cupcake each time
I have never been into Hummingbirds before but I wanted to get my family something nice that they would enjoy for helping us out recently so I went in to purchase some cupcakes which I have yet to try but they looked delicious.

Great selection of cakes and friendly staff who were more than happy to package a slice of (delicious) Mile High Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake for a long flight. It can get really busy, especially around lunch time.

Bought a variety of cakes for a one-off party. They were absolutely delicious - so fluffy! In the more expensive range but I'd definitely recommend and buy from again. Range was good, response to email was good, and spent time providing the options to us.
THE best place for cupcakes, you have to try one of these. Red velvet is our fave and their rainbow cake also goes down a storm at kiddie birthday parties. If only they had cheaper delivery costs they'd get a 5 star rating.
Best red velvet cupcake I've had. My boyfriend usually has the new york cheesecake and says its the best cheesecake he's had as well. The cakes are always fresh, light and not too sweet. We always pop in when we're in Richmond yummm
We get our occasional cakes to treat ourselves from here. Quality is always good and consistent, the staff are really nice and polite too. Can definitely recommend if you need some cakes to order.
Great choice for cakes in a central, Richmond location. The hummingbird makes a good place to visit if you're planning on having coffee/tea and cakes with a friend. Beaware they have a surcharge if you dine in though.
