Lovely little pub with warm welcome and great food, we walk from home to pub, Sunday lunch today not too busy, food was nice as usual. Recommend people around this village visit
Visited this traditional village pub on several occasions. Have always been greeted with a smile and friendly hello. The food is so delicious and the portions very generous. The bar and waiting staff are very friendly and accommodating. The locals are also very welcoming and chatty. Would recommend

The food was nice and best described as traditional pub grub, the menu isn't massive (not a bad thing) but with a decent selection vegetarian and pescatarian options.
Traditional country pub with pretty beer garden. Stopped for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by the range of vegan and vegetarian options, as well as the excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend.
Just had a really nice lunchtime meal there with my daughter. Great food and friendly service.
Recommended after we stopped somewhere but they only did bar snacks. Food was lovely, all home cooked and excellent. Good choices for all tastes. Desserts all homemade which is a rarity. We are going to come back on our way home.
Been here a few times now , great fun locals pub and warm and very welcoming , they have a car show once a month on a Thursday that I’ve been to once .

Visiting area and was taken to this lovely village pub. Good menu, including vegetarian options. Plenty of parking, nice garden and very nice seating area inside. Definitely one to visit.

Excellent meal today, I had the duck and it was perfect, raspberry ripple cheesecake was pretty amazing too! I shall be back soon with my Caravan for a long weekend and to try the other homemade desserts. Thank you 😊
Have not been through Ridgmont since bypass was built. wish I had. lovely little pub with a great menu at very reasonable prices. Would definitely use again

Pub and campsite in an ideal location just one mile from M1. Nice size site with all amenities. The friendly, new owners have been in just a week and kitchen opens Sunday.

I took Mumsy to the Rose & Crown for Sunday lunch, following the recommendation of local friends, Mr & Mrs Downie. The hosts were very accommodating allowing Mumsy to have a smaller portion of only one sausage with mash potatoes and peas. I had traditional roast beef.

They have a campsite around the back of the pub they do fish and chips on Tuesday and Saturdays I will recommend it...

A lovely place to eat and drink. Ended up here for lunch by accident as a nearby pub had their kitchen closed. Ordered the chef's pie which was chicken and mushroom. It was great and I got a nice big slice. I'll definitely be visiting again.
