Being used to London prices I didn't find it expensive. There was a BBQ on the go when we arrived yesterday evening and the wild boar burger for £6 was really good. Although a Fullers pub there was a guest ale on draft so I tried a pint of Romsey Gold which was a very nice beer. A jazz band was playing too so all in all a great night at the 'Alice'.

Beautiful country pub in the picturesque New Forest. Excellent food, very friendly, we call in for lunch most days while walking the dogs, this time of year they can dry off in front of the fire. If you’re hungry, try the ribs!

My family and I booked a last minute table there yesterday late afternoon. Not coming from the area and only going on Internet reviews we went along. All I can say is what a great pub/resturant. The staff were brilliant and will certainly be visiting again when next around that area.

Lovely atmosphere in this traditional styled country pub but with all the modern facilities you would expect. The garden area is vast and not only has a kid friendly play area but a sanctuary for those who like a time out from kids. There are even donkeys in the car park to make sure your cars are well looked after 😂 Staff are very efficient and I found that a generous tip makes them friendlier too 😎💰

Lovely experience! We celebrated my boyfriend's father's birthday and the staff were really nice and put a candle on his dessert and sang happy birthday to him :) Many thanks!

Gorgeous food, including veggie and plant-based options. Local cider which was delicious. Bar staff so friendly. We sat outside, looking over the lake and listening to the birds, with cushions and blankets… best afternoon ever. I’d leave 10 stars if I could!

We walked here in the daytime whilst exploring blashford lakes, mid week it was very quiet but a few people enjoying lunch. We booked for dinner the following night, no need to have booked as we had the whole restaurant to ourselves at 7pm. Food was good quality and nicely cooked, reasonable price, we had 2 starters and mains and 2 drinks, came to just under £60 Nice to see the new forest ponies grazing outside in the daytime.

Nice clean pub pleasant staff who happily sorted out ant issues we had and food was tasty Hugh beer garden overlooking a lovely fishing lake. Dog friendly plenty of parking. I would of proffered a few more options on the menu, and I know everything is going up in price but did feel price a little high for what we had ie May be offer bread and butter with the fish and chips these things would have put my rate as 5.

Great restaurant and traditional English pub. Food was fresh and nicely presented. Got a nice clean feeling when there. My only improvement is to offer Coca Cola.

Had a lovely walk on Rockford Common, then drove a short drive to this pub. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating. It has its own separate dog friendly section with its own bar. Nice touch. There are plenty of seats. Just walked in. Didn't reserve a table. I had the burger and chips. Asked for it plain with red onion and had to scrape the onion out. It was almost pickled in something. Not nice. Burger and chips nice, though. Partner had haddock and chips. Good portion and enjoyed. Desserts were lovely. See pictures. Nice pub. Will return.

Stopped here for lunch following a walk around the national park. Plenty of parking available and a good selection of food options although they weren't cheap. Had a wonderful sharing platter that was served quickly and was delicious.

Very nice pub in the new forest. Stumbled across it accidentally and ended up staying for a drink in the garden area, which is huge! It was a pretty good place, reasonable prices and was clean too. Didn't have food but it looked good. Upon leaving I was waiting out the front and was visited by a Robin!

The Alice Lisle in Ringwood is a great place to visit for a meal. The food is delicious, and there's a good variety of options, including a tasty Sunday roast for vegetarians. The wait for a table was minimal and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere was also pleasant and inviting. The vegetarian option for a roast dinner was a nice touch too. Overall, I would highly recommend the Alice Lisle for a satisfying meal and great service.

We visited last month during a holiday but I've been coming here for over 25 years. Food was good but we both asked for Sunday dinners only to be told that they had no Yorkshire puddings and only one of the meats available so we changed our minds as Sunday dinner without yorkies to a northerner is unforgivable but the burger was lovely and we both enjoyed our meals. A lovely part of the world nicely tucked away with a lovely playground for the little ones.
