The place could do with a bit of TLC, a freshen up, but our food was excellent - well presented and delicious.

Visited here previously. Decent pub, good service they have a pool table and TNT sports. We watched the Newcastle v PSG game here yesterday 🍻👌🤌

We booked a table for a family meal, the staff were very welcoming and polite, we ordered from.the menu and although we all chose different meals one of which was gluten free, they all arrived very promptly and were cooked to.perfection.We stayed for a few drinks and a game of pool after we had eaten so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, car parking wasn't a problem as there is a large carpark at the rear of the building. As an added bonus the pub is dog friendly so we will be able to.visit with our pets next time we are in the area, would recommend people pop in and check out the lovely old building, we will definitely be back for a visit and maybe book in for a weekend break in the rooms that are available.

I go here on many friday evenings with friends. The food is cheap and cheerful and the drinks are good. The atmosphere is pretty nice and the staff are very friendly.

We stayed here for 1 night midweek (2 adults and our 5 year old child). The room was clean and comfortable. The food we ordered (dinner and breakfast) was reasonably priced and very tasty. The staff working were kind and helpful, especially Tom behind the bar who was very friendly and funny! We would definitely recommend this place, very family friendly, calm and pleasant😊 Thanks for a great stay 😄

We had a lovely 2 day break here.
The people, food and service was excellent. A bit disappointed there was no fan in the room as it was very hot, so we had to go and buy one.
Also upset that we booked an evening meal and did not get 20% discount.
Other than that would thoroughly recommend people to visit.

Dave And Gemma were very helpful as we had to stay an extra night because of car problems . Very accommodating. Great bar service too

Came in with a few friends and had a variety of dishes from the menu. All were cooked perfectly. The service was brilliant, not to intrusive and very friendly and helpful staff.
