Had the 4 course a la cart and every dish was to die for. Been to many a Michelin starred restaurant. This was one of the best. Amazing staff, very helpful and the food was beautiful.
It was our first visit to this fabulous restaurant last night and hopefully not the last! Probably the best meal I've ever had, the food and service were amazing. Very much appreciated how well you catered for vegetarians, how you make cauliflower taste that good is beyond me!! Thank you for a lovely evening

Took my mum for an early mothers day treat for lunch. Lovely taster menu and mum enjoyed her wine flight! Relaxed atmospher and high quality food. Will definitely be back

All the staff are helpful, attentive, and experienced in their own field, which all added up to a five star experience.

We go to Drakes about once or twice a year on special occasions. If we could afford it we would go there much more often. It really is a special place and one which I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Excellent food, a broad selection of wines, a fine choice of cheeses, and helpful & knowlegable staff - particularly the sommelier and the cheese guy. I've eaten at Drakes several times, and each meal left me with something exceptional to remember - the food is easily amongst the best I've eaten.
First time visit, could not fault anything just as good as some Michelin star restaurants I've been to recently well done to all the staff and chefs will be back!

I don’t usually leave reviews but this restaurant is a must visit for the food connoisseurs.
We were staying at Four Seasons Hampshire (worst food ever), hungry and desperate, we were lucky enough to get a reservation same day at the Clock House.
We were astonished by the whole experience, from the warm welcome, to the restaurant interior, pleasant and smooth music, excellent service from the lovely waiting staff, incredible food (I am not exaggerating as I have had the pleasure of trying multiple restaurants in the Michelin segment in the area) and delicious wine.
We had the tasting menu and without spoiling the surprise, every bite was perfection, made with so much attention and utter skill. Truly spectacular! Thank you for the marvellous tasting experience!
(One thing I would recommend is maybe to offer two variations of butter for those who might have a more simpler taste palette but otherwise it was everything we could have hoped for and more).
We have dined here 5 times now, lunch and dinner. The experience is phenomenal every time! The service is top notch. The host has been there for years and he’s friendly and knowledgeable. The food is fresh and delicious every time. Best gin and tonics. One of our all time favorite restaurants!!
Phenomenal food and service. Each course was carefully curated and an interesting surprise of favours. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating which made our anniversary meal extra special. Certainly for special occasions, as the price indicates, a true dining experience.
Had the 7 course tasting menu. Food was excellent, awesome sensations on the palate, well presented, staff were very attentive. Great experience, second time visiting.
Worth the wait based you have to book a few months in advance.
Bar area needs a upgrade IMO
Came for lunch on Saturday after visiting two years ago and had the most wonderful experience. Not only is the food imaginative, seasonal, beautifully presented and delicious, but the staff are just wonderful. The service is perfectly attentive without being overbearing, everyone seems happy to be there and it is reflected in the whole atmosphere. I can’t wait to visit again.
We went last night for our anniversary. Can’t fault any aspect, it was a lovely experience and the food was incredible. Best dining experience we’ve had in years!!
Excellent. Tried the lunch menu really great choices but had to fill up on bread and the cheese board before desert. However really good service and food quality. Highly recommend.
We visited The Clock House in May. Having never been whilst it was Drakes we were excited to see if it lived up to it's previous reputation. I can safely say it did - and we had a brilliant experience. It's a close shave between this restaurant and Stovells in Chobham for the title of most special restaurant we've visited in Surrey. Clock House may just take it - as not only is the food first class, so is the atmosphere, dining room and service. Looking forward to the next special occasion which might warrant a return here. Let's hope they achieve a Michelin star too - they deserve it.
Took my wife here to celebrate her birthday. More challengingly we had our two children in tow. Amazing food and service that went far beyond what we could have expected. Food highlights included the plaice with celeriac which was beautifully balanced with a meaty Bouillabaisse sauce. The lamb was fantastic too, and the pre desert of cucumber and basic was a real treat. Watching the head waiter teach my daughters croquette so we could enjoy the fish course.
I took my girlfriend here for dinner on Saturday and I was absolutely blown away by the experience. What the reviews and pictures don't always convey is just how fun the experience is, as we smiled from ear-to-ear all night. The atmosphere was great even in the first weekend of January. I'd recommend the wine pairing as a must to complete the experience, as they're fabulously presented and explained by the friendly staff, and generously poured. I'll definitely be returning.

At this exclusive Winemaker Dinner, guest enjoyed a privileged access to the man behind these fantastic wines, who will showcase vintages dating back over 20 years.
These was also paired with a unique menu, devised by head chef Fred Clapperton, to highlight the food-friendly nature of the wines and showcase the talent of The Clock House kitchen.
Wow wow wow , what a lovely restaurant, amazing food, wine and the all the staff were so friendly and very attentive, thank you, certainly a night to remember ! I would highly recommend The Clock House restaurant.

Great food and service. Tasting menu only in view of streamlining to meet 10pm Covid closing deadline. Hand sanitiser at entrance and on each table. All staff wearing masks, but unfortunately not by most of the other guests when moving to and from their table - the restaurant should politely remind guests to comply.
Absolutely delicious food and welcoming staff, we took our newborn baby and they didn’t bat an eyelid - welcomed us in and treated us amazingly. We can’t wait to return!
