This is a lovely local fish and chip shop, run by a friendly family who are always welcoming and lovely. The food is cooked fresh and very tasty. I am quite fussy with fish and chips but I am always very happy with them here. I have had cod and chips, the fish cakes and the mushy peas. I would definitely recommend this take away. I took my mum there on the night of the fireworks in Ripley and even though it was busy the food was still really tasty. My mum said how much she enjoyed it.
We drive for 30 minutes to get our fish and chips from this place, so that should say it all. Very polite staff, family run I think, prices are fair in comparison to other fish and chip shops that sell lesser quality food at a higher price. I noticed tonight that they decant their vinegar into a spray bottle, because when applied to the fish and chips it 'distributes the vinegar more evenly' I was told when I questioned the server. Proving they care about what they serve and how they present the food. Great place, usually a good 10 to 15 minutes wait as the fish is all cooked while you wait, so the batter is always fresh and crispy. Well worth a visit. 2 x Haddock and chips and two cans of drink £25.
Had a great takeaway from these guys, lovely friendly staff, service was great, all freshly cooked, portion sizes were really good ordered a large cod and is was large, good size portions of chips too, will definitely return to them again soon.
Great food, great service and really nice family who run the place. As a local, it's a proper community business and really welcoming.

Visited a few times now, and will happily make a detour to visit again. Polite friendly staff who provide really fresh food, great crispy batter on fish and well cooked and fresh chips, none of the refried / kept warm soggy mess you get from some places. Would recommend 👍🏼

We had really lovely fish and chips from Sea Salt last night. Perfectly cooked fish, that was tasty and in a really light, crispy, and non-greasy batter, with excellent chips that were crispy on the outside, and nice and soft in the middle. Great value at £9 per portion, and we actually had enough chips for a sneaky lunch the next day. Best fish and chips we’ve had in ages!
I was warmly greeted on my first visit to this wonderful establishment. The chips were extremely tasty, fresh and not too oily. I will be back.
