This is a lovely little location tucked away in the heart of Ripon. The food was lovely, the service was really good and the staff were very friendly. The place has so much character as well. We’ll definitely be going again soon.
My friend and I visited last night for a new years get together and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The little plates came very quickly after ordering and the staff were attentive and friendly. There were lots of vegetarian options to choose from which I was very happy to see. We polished the whole of the 5 dishes off with a litre of yummy sangria! Would definitely visit again.
Visited a few weeks ago now, overall was a very pleasant experience. The service was great only not been put as a 5 star because after we had received all of our food we were missing 2 of our dishes I had noticed 1 and the staff did cook it but when looking through the bill I noticed another but was too full so wasn't really to bothered. The food was too rich and oily fory liking but wasn't unpleasant just not to my taste personally. Just a side not the A-boards were in the door entrance when we arrived which made it awkward to enter the venue not sure if this is a regular occurrence.
A wonderful evening spent here; the food was superb with some lovely tapas dishes followed by an amazing paella...lovely " background" music so that it enabled conversation. Some gr8 interaction also with very attentive staff. Lovely evening all round.
My new husband and I visited Ripon for a couple of days and found this lovely place on the second night. The food was some of the best we've had...and not just in terms of tapas! It was all so tasty. I wish we didn't live so far away so we could visit again soon!
Well worth a visit.
Great food, great host, overall a great experience. We had the lunch time deal and every dish was great. We were a group of 4, 2 couples, both our husbands had not been looking forward to this meal, but both changed their minds after eating there. Would definitely eat there again.

Phenomenal food and always a treat to have a meal at Manchega! Richard is wonderful along with every member of staff who makes you feel welcomed as soon as you step through the door. So many amazing tapas to pick from but patatas bravas and prawn fitters are two can’t miss items from the menu. Looking forward to my next trip!
Really enjoyed our experience at Manchega, the restaurant is really cosy with a great atmosphere, the owner is fantastic, makes you feel very welcome. Food was really tasty and some great options. My only feedback is the dishes were very expensive for tapas.
Me and my partner look for Tapas every tip away we have. We have had a place in Scarborough hard to beat for a long time, but we agree Manchega has topped it! Absolutely gorgeous food, we would love to know where they get their Olives! Chorizo was the best We've ever had, another level good! And every staff member were an absolute dream, service and efficiency spot on.
We plan to bring friends very soon. Thank you for making a wonderful night away that bit extra!
