Having tried scones all over the UK, this cafe wins hands down. Amazing!! The cherry and marzipan cannot be beaten!!! The staff make you feel welcome and have brilliant customer service !!!
Lovely little coffee shop/tea rooms close to the cathedral. Beautiful courtyard garden to rear. Great, friendly service and fantastic home-made cheese scones. Rest of the food on offer looked good - shame we were only there for an afternoon coffee break or would have tried more

The best sandwich I have had in a very long time (chicken and avocado on white). Very friendly, unpretentious and welcoming. Dog friendly.
Really nice, upmarket café just near Ripon Cathedral. Beautifully scrummy homemade scones, although our coffees were slow and only arrived after we'd finished our food.
Other than that it would have been 5 stars. Worth a visit.
Brilliant little cafe. First time visiting today. So accommodating to our children . Lovely surroundings we even sat outside! Had the chicken sandwich and if was soooo tasty! Highly recommend!

Had a latte here. Oat milk was avaliable. I enjoyed it. Has seating in the front, back, and in the back garden.
What an hidden gem the cheese scones are devine but try the cherry bakewell scones the owner makes you really welcome they are the best scones in Yorkshire 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Stopped off for a cup of tea and a scone and a sausage roll. It was such a pleasant experience as the owner was so friendly and open. The scone and sausage roll were fresh and delicious. A lovely experience in the heart of beautiful Ripon.

Six of us had a wonderful afternoon tea at Chimes, Ripon, to celebrate our Golden Wedding. From the warm welcome we received on arrival, everything was perfect! We had a small private room which was decorated on a Golden Wedding theme. The table was beautifully set out for us and home made sandwiche

Fantastic experience. Classic Yorkshire tea house atmosphere. Very friendly host, reasonable prices. Cosy interior and nice garden out back. Delicious pastries and tea/coffee, good portions. The mini Victoria sponge was delicious and was the star. Highly recommended!
