They have good luck chasing fare with soup and sandwiches as well as a salmon filet. The staff is friendly and helpful, they were checking up on us throughout the meal.prices were reasonable as my cheese burger was about $12 with a salad. Parking g can be tight and with 2 of our party slow in mobility this could be a problem. Helpful folks, good sandwiches and soup. Good for lunch.

Hometown bakery with delicious treats and cakes that are simply amazing. Whenever a family member has a birthday, my girlfriend and I use it as an excuse to get a cake from here. They always pay attention to detail and their bakery shelves are always piled high with fresh cookies and pastries and bagels.

My Lasagna dinner was large and superb. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala and it was amazing. It was so delicious I ordered one to go. If you love gourmet food and don’t want to pay San Francisco prices try eating at Burgess Bakery. You will be pleasantly surprised and thankful.

Staff was wonderful and even served some muffins from the back that were already put away (I came in a little late in the evening). You can have wine, beer, espresso, pastries and breakfast lunch and dinner. Ambiance is mellow and very nice. Table service if you eat there. Great little bakery and will come again if I make it back here again someday in the future.

Excellent cakes and baked good. Super friendly and helpful staff that guided my wife to get the perfect cake for her birthday.
We went with a cake. The frosting was flavored perfectly, creamy but still fluffy. The custard in the middle was perfectly flavored. The cake was moist and perfectly done.

Best bakery in south county. Great customer service. Good pies, pastry, cookies and bread. I recently ordered a beautiful wedding cake. It was delivered on time and it was delicious. The holiday platers are good too! Good place to relax and have coffee.
