I’ve just visited The Blue Clam since the new owners have taken over , and I can say I wasn’t disappointed the fish was really nice . The chips were really nice and crispy . I found the staff very friendly and chatty . The whole shop looked spotless .They definitely take pride in their hygiene standard’s . I will definitely be returning on a regular basis now for quality Fish&Chips .

Did a delivery in the village and just spotted this place on the way back to the Motorway to head home down South.
What a lovely chippy, the 2 ladies that served me were so nice and the freshly cooked food was delicious.
Now I know where it is I'll certainly be back on my travels up North.

Wow the fish butty was wonderful. The chips just melted in your mouth and the Irish Curry sauce is lovely. The team are so nice and friendly. Love this local chippy.
