Warm friendly greeting, from the very first time I found this excellent traditional pub, (not many left). The owners are really nice. The service is First class and the kind female owner- waitress always ask if you need anything. The food is super delicious, beautifuly prepared and cooked by a talented chef. The menu selection and choice is very good, only trouble is I like everything on it, very hard to choose, I'll have to return and try them one by one. Five star. The draft beer is kept really well.

I've been for many lunches here and the food is always top notch and the portions generous with a good kids menu too. Lovely local pub and very good value for money with lovely friendly service.

How pubs used to be. Great ales with a good barmaid to ensure you have everything you need for a good meal too. Our food was lovely. Really good value too. We will return when we next visit the area.

Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime. This pub actually followed the track and trace rules. Done as much as they could for social distancing. The owners were friendly and the food was better and cheaper than many chains. Pop in and support this pub that has survived lockdown and really trying it's best. Will definitely return

Tasty burgers with a good side salad and chips. Also good parking and only just off the main road

Lovely food, friendly service. They really entered into the spirit of the surprise birthday cake complete with firework for Dad! The brewery really does need to invest some money in the building but it was great to go somewhere that isn't done up in the current generic, "could be anywhere" decor.

Had a starter and main, very good value for money. Set up well for outside dining, would definitely come back. Bring an appetite as portions are big, and really lovely

Food was nice here, although the menu doesn't have a huge amount of choice. What they do, they do well. The veg all seems fresh and the prices aren't bad. Would recommend!

Lovely trad pub... very warm and cosy... good beers and food... two distinct bars and various seating areas , especially in back room. Large car park and garden to rear

We held my mother in laws wake here , June and Malcolm, were amazing , so hospitable, put on a wonderful, buffet, we had relatives travel from London , they were impressed too, we shall definitely return,in happier circumstances,to enjoy this lovely , pub x.
