We called in here one evening for a meal and drink. The whole place is really welcoming and cosy and full of atmosphere. The menu was of a good size and everything we ordered was delicious. They have a pretty good selection of gluten free options to. The view across the beach was unbeatable. We will definitely call in again next time we're in the area.

After a lovely walk around Robin Hoods Bay, me and my wife thought a drink and a bite to eat would be a good idea. Upon arriving in the bar we chose our seat, and decided what we would like to eat/drink. Service was fantastic and the staff are informative and friendly. Food and drink is fairly priced and is to a high quality. The bar itself is clean and tidy, and offers fantastic views out to sea. Would recommend.

We didn't stay here, just called in for food. Menu was varied with good options and the meals we had were excellent value and very generous helpings. The bay burger was exceptional with chips, onion rings etc. Overall good value.

We stopped off here for a pint 🍻 and to rest our legs with the thought of climbing back up the hill. The Wainwright's Bar downstairs gives you a good selection of beers and the feeling of being back in an old fishing pub.

Really good pub!! Staff were super friendly. The location is perfect, gorgeous sea views. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus. The food was amazing, it was reasonably priced as well. The curry of the day (butter chicken) was delicious!

Didn't stay here overnight, just had some food. Best steak pie I've ever had, very filling and absolutely gorgeous home-made chips. Absolutely amazing fish and chips had by my partner too!

Called in for a pint or 3 and had a pudding as we had eaten somewhere else . Food looked really good . Wish we had gone here in the first place .

Our second visit, 5 years after our previous. Such a great place that is at the heart of the village that is Robin Hood's Bay. A warm, welcome from the lashing hide-tide sea is a complete winner. The food is hot and hearty - perfect pub grub. The range of beers and gins is excellent. All in all, a great place.

We visited Robin Hood's Bay and stopped off at the Bay Hotel for a quiet pint, we sat outside on some wooden pub tables overlooking the sea wall and the Bay itself. Staff were pleasant and cleared the tables quickly after customers had finished. Upstairs in the bar area folk were sitting down either with a drink or eating a meal. The whole atmosphere was of an enjoyable visit by all.
