Booked for my birthday and it did not disappoint! We shared a camembert starter, then both had steak. It was cooked to perfection. I had the scampi with mine too. Everything was fresh and tasty and there was plenty of it. The staff are helpful and welcoming and very chatty and bubbly. Made for a great atmosphere. Would highly recommend but you must book for evening meals. This is a very small restaurant but extremely popular.
We popped in with our 3 tiny dogs, just as the rain started. We were made to feel instantly welcome. The owners were very cheery and helpful. We both had the steak which was cooked perfectly. It was served with the best onions ever. 😋The atmosphere was very great. Lovely wee place. It should really have 10 stars 🌟 100% recommended.
We visited 13/08/23 and would strongly advise you to book a table as this fantastic place can get booked up quickly. The bistro is quirky and cosy inside a lovely setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu and the evening menu has a great selection. The food is amazingly fresh high quality and made in house. We ordered the camembert to start It was a great sharing starter. I had the 8oz prime fillet and it was hands down the best steak I have ever had, cooked to perfection. My partner had the forest chicken and that was also amazing and tasty. Sadly they ran out of crème brûlée but the brownie did not disappoint. Good selection of drinks too would highly recommend the dark & stormy cocktail with a steak. Would always recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning. Worth every penny and the tip as well. Thank you to the staff.
We arrived here after walking for 3.5 hours and was delighted by some lovely members of staff who seated us and served us promptly. Everyone who served us was really friendly and accommodated to all of our needs and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. We all had a sandwich which was absolutely delicious and there were many vegan options for my vegan friend who enjoyed your lovely burger. We will be visiting again on our next trip to Robin Hoods Bay, Thankyou for your great service and food😁
Just amazing lunch...beetroot falafel on a bed of greens with onion loaf...its up in my top 3 best lunches ever!!...could eat it everyday. My partner had a crab sandwich perfection also

Couldn't let my birthday weekend go by, without giving a massive vote of thanks to Freya & James at this fabulous Bistro Restaurant, in the heart of Robin Hood's Bay.
They have created a wonderful venue, with excellent food & drinks, great atmosphere, and a superb team around them.
Highly recommend their new T-Bone Steaks.

Delightful - we had a wonderful lunch and the staff were absolute legends. My Whitby crab sandwich was a borderline spiritual experience. Chips and coffee also standout.
I read a previous review just after this place opened that said that this was just what Robin Hoods Bay needed and that's bang on. Not your usual fish and chip place, although they sell that if you like, but excellent steak, great burgers and a good breakfast selection. They happily champion local producers as well which I always like to see. Its a small cosy place with great ambience so book ahead if you want to guarantee a table!
We came in here for lunch a few days ago. They had some great vanilla lattes. They also did me a bowl of fries which were very good. Hot, crispy and tasty. Inside the seating is clean and calm.
