Took my partner and family here to celebrate her birthday on recomendation....
I have to say I was more than impressed, what a great place to eat/drink.....
Very clean, great view of the lake, very friendly staff.....
Orders for drinks taken as soon as we were seated and didnt have to wait very long for meals to arrive. My partner and her daughter ordered the dressed crab from the specials menu and although it tasted very nice, my partners crab had quite a bit of shell in it. We didnt complain but highlighted this to our waitress who promptly brought the manager.....
What a proffesional genuinely nice man he was....
He was very apologetic and immediately offered my partner an alternative meal at no extra cost......
The alternative meal arrived shortly afterwards and was perfect......
Despite the unfortunate experience with the crab, which was most likely a one off, the food here was perfect and the service was second to none.....
We will deffinately be returning here and would highly recommend it to anyone.....
A great place for couples or families (as kids are catered for) to enjoy a nice meal in nice surroundings.....
Had a wonderful party on 28th April in the function room to celebrate my husbands 100th Marathon.
Everything was perfect. The room which had been dressed by the staff looked stunning, and of course the views of the lake are amazing. The food was fantastic and the bar staff were very efficient. Special thanks to Lori who couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you Wine Press for making the occasion so memorable. I would highly recommend xx
Just had a wonderful birthday meal! Thank you so much to Lorrie and all the staff! We were some very tricky customers. Started as last minute party of 13 (booked day before!) and ended up 23! Manager helped us out with best times, very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Food was great, kids loved it! (Decent quality sausages!) And our food was hot, on time and not a single issue with any meal. And that's saying something for a big table like ours! I normally don't write these....a bit sceptical.... but seriously enjoyed the night! Thanks again guys!

Gorgeous food, great service and fantasic location adjacent to the lake. You can tell the food is home made. Had chicken liver pate and sausage and mash. Superb. �

Really fabulous venue next to the lake. Just perfect! Lovely views of the lake and the scenery. Gorgeous food. Great varied choice of drinks. An ice cream van on site. Air conditioning inside. Highly recommended if you visit the lake. Perfect spot and great atmosphere with lovely people.
Love it here for the view and the banter with the bikers / walkers. Stopped for drinks today ended up stopping for lunch all great! The girl who served us at the bar must having being having a bad day… she’s was grumpy and not at all warm! But Hey ho we all have an off day 🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely amazing little place right next to the lake just beautiful on a sunny day.
Staff very friendly and nice always full of smile.
Inside is spotless clean.
The food is very good priced and always spot on with taste. Gets very busy on sunny weekend but during the week is just perfect.

Came here for my birthday lunch, lovely view of Hollingworth lake.
Came in and asked for a table of 3 with my small dog, immediately pushed to the other side of the restaurant which is dog friendly, that’s fine if the waitress wasn’t so rude about it, she seemed disappointed.
Otherwise food was ok and came at a reasonable time.
On a summers day, it's a lovely place to have a drink, a bite to eat and chill out.
Food portions seemed on the small side and the time to finally receive our meal was slow.
The staff are friendly and polite.
I had a wonderful time at The Wine Press in Littleborough. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about their selection. I enjoyed a delightful evening here, and the food was delicious as well. The fantastic views of the lake added to the charm of the place. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great dining experience in the area!

Great food, great location, great service. Also lots of good gluten free options. Toilets nice and clean. Family friendly too. We’ll be back :)
Nipped in for a Sunday Roast. Dining in either restaurant or bar area. Food served pretty quick. Lovely food. Reasonably priced. Car park is a little small for the size of the restaurant but I did note additional parking nearby. All in all satisfactory, would go again
We always call here after a walk around the lake. It's our little treat. There is always a great atmosphere and usually pretty busy with bikers and walkers. We've not had anything to eat here but thr food looks lovely and there is always people eating.

Set in a great location and great seating looking across the lake and moors. Service is impersonal but polite and food is just above normal pub food. Still a great place to visit and relax.
We had a lovely meal, with attentive and friendly service.
I would happily recommend this establishment for families, groups or intimate dining.

Lovely warm welcome, dog friendly, modern pub/restaurant. Great homely food very well presented. Good selection of beers and gins, great wines too. Absolutely fabulous views and attentive, friendly and professional staff. Well worth a walk around the lake and then top it off coming to tthe Wine Press 😊
