Bamford Arms

Attended a funeral wake there yesterday, where they provided a finger buffet for the mourners. Whoever put it together should be ashamed!!. The quality was more than poor it was dreadful. Cheap white bread sandwiches filled with sloppy egg mayonaise, ham with so much tomato you couldn't taste the ham ,and cheese with an absolute overkill of Branston pickle, a new one on me for a buffet. The savouries, pies, Indian selection and sausage rolls were tasteless and obviously of the poorest quality. A little detail had been given to the chicken wings I suppose, with a drizzle of barbecue sauce over the top. None of the trays were garnished to even try to make them look attractive, although it would have been impossible. Altogether an absolutely awful, awful show, and somewhere that I would avoid .
