A little on the expensive side but an excellent meal and friendly service. Dog friendly. Terrific views across to Padstow.

Great food, generous portions. Lots of local produce on offer. Very scrummy puds. Was lucky enough to be able to sit outside on a lovely summer's evening and take in rhe view. Service good, but coukd have been better (we had to chase a coffee order and ask to order after waiting a fair while).

Arrived on a typical Cornish Spring day, absolutely pouring with rain and windy with it, inside was what I'd call quietly busy with small groups of people chatting at their tables all looking the better for being in the warmth and not outside.
Served very quickly by smiling staff and had a great Cappuccino coffee with a delicious piece of Carrot cake, my partner had an equally good Mocha (she said it was one of the best she'd ever had) and thoroughly enjoyed her Chocolate cake.
Price wasn't that high considering it was Rock, and it was a far better experience than most of the High Street chains.

On a visit to this restaurant we found the staff extremely helpful , the menu was extensive and the service was not rushed but delightfully leisurely . The owners and staff are to be highly commended .

No. 1 rock road is surely the hidden gem in the crown of North Cornwall. The lights from Padstow glistening off the estuary create the perfect backdrop to an evening of exceptional food and genuinely friendly service. A wonderful evening!
