Banging food I'm from Birmingham so I know my food most places in newport area filling it up with Onions peppers and tomatoes less meat to make it look like it meant to be like but it not

My wife and I have been going to Spicy for last 8 years and we wouldn’t chose to go anywhere else in Newport. Last night, I changed my order from my ‘usual’ to King Prawn Bombay and it was absolutely superb; brimming full of flavour and a generous quantity of King Prawns too. Highly recommended. Only recently started going here again, as stopped during lockdown. The staff are extremely friendly and have even delivered to my car outside, when I didn’t notice them waiting. They’ve even checked their competitors are open next door (because my youngest fussy and only wanted a jumbo sausage 🙈), which was extremely helpful! But, the food.. my favourite is the lamb dhansaak and it’s outstanding!!! Truthfully, Indian curry’s are my favourite and I’m extremely fussy, the food and staff having me coming back regularly! Also, costs are reasonable and competitive for the area.

The food here is consistent, tasty, portions are generous and I really can't fault it - especially for the price. I've paid more for far less enjoyable food elsewhere. Staff are friendly and polite too, I gladly recommend them if you fancy a cheeky takeaway.
